I like your Chickadee photographs, especially the one on your header.
Oh my Eileen, such beautiful photos! The first one has very nice composition and the second one is amazingly clear. Love how our feathered friends stand out among the bare branches! Lovely!
I love the Carolina Chickadees, Eileen. They just chatter constantly. You have some great photos.
Love the Great Falls also. I'd love to see them sometime in person.
Hugs,

Eileen: What is funny is I think I only see Black Capped Chickadee and wonder if I'll ever see the other. You have some great photos of yours.
How similar they are to the Black-capped! I wouldn't have noticed a difference visually without your dialog. Very sweet! Love the header this week. ~ks
Cute birds Eileen and so close in looks to the black-capped chickadee.

I realize that I don't know any bird names in English, so following your blog is a great way to learn.
Superb header photo Eileen. they are so much like our Coal Tit (pics on my blog). Keep those shots coming. Phil

Eileen,
Interesting information and good photos. I have only seen the black-capped variety as far as I know.
They look like little balls of fluff.
I love saying chickadee. I must visit the States one day so I can point them out and say chickadeeee. :-)
Very cute birdies.
Great shots of the Carolina Chickadee Eileen! The blog header shot is fantastic!
I LOVE chickadees! And love your header shot too!!
I see only 6 days until Spring...Yippeee!
Gorgeous bird, and fantastic photo
They are beautiful and look like the were painted. I haven't seen any in person so this is a wonderful treat for me. Thanks for sharing.
What a sweet looking little bird. The one peeking out of the feeder is adorable.
I haven't seen a Carolina Chickadee since living in Pennsylvania years ago. Thanks for your lovely photos to reming me of their beauty!
What a cute little bird. they look more colorful than the sparrows we have in our backyard.
Living up North for many years, I got used to the song of the black-capped chickadee. When I moved down here & first heard the Carolina version, it was as though even it had a Southern accent. :)
Nice photos. I have seen the Black cappped up at Catoctin but that is about as close to you that I have seen them.
They are adorable little birds aren't they!
This schickadee looks so much like our Black-capped Chicksdee we have here. lovely Costa Rica bird photos.
