Christmas sunset

December 26, 2013

Linking up with NF Winged   and  Skywatch Friday

We had somewhat of a quiet Christmas morning, my son opened his presents early and I had some time to watch my backyard birds.. Christmas dinner and family gift exchange was at my sister's house.  We had lots of yummy food and desserts and were happy to see baby Neill for his 1st Christmas..

For NF Winged I am sharing some of the finches seen in my backyard on Christmas morning.

A couple of my American Goldfinches..

A pretty male House Finch..enjoying the Christmas feast on my deck railing..

The sunset on Christmas day was gorgeous..

A flock of geese flying over during the sunset..I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day..I wanted to say thank you to all my blog followers for all their visits and comments over the year. I wish everyone all the best in 2014..Happy New Years..

  8. Always such wonderful pictures! Loved the little finch, so close and sweet. And the sunset was a treat to see. We haven't seen many "bright spots" with all of the snow deciding to visit our place in the planet for the past several days!

The sunset picture with the flying geese is just perfect.

Thank you for treading me with your daily presence and delightful birdy friends this past year. I like seeing your Goldie Girl too.

  31. Just the sort of Christmas I like, all good things and no responsibility. I too was lucky in that regard with our celebrations in the lower house with my daughter's family.
Great to watch your birds instead of basting one in the oven and such a lovely sky to bless you at the end of the day.
Wishing you a Happy and healthy New Year dear Eileen.
