Saturday’s Critters #3

First, I wish Merry Christmas to everyone. I know a lot of bloggers are taking blogging breaks.  I  want to wish them and you a happy holiday with family and loved ones.

My Saturday’s Critter post and photos are from our yard and a walk on the NCR trail a few weeks ago. A cold day but clear skies perfect for a brisk walk and to look for birds..

After filling the feeders at home I was able to watch some of my yardbird.  The American Goldfinches are here year round and are showing off their winter colors.

One of my most popular feeders has a Goldfinch and a White-Breasted Nuthatch.

I seem to see the Redbellied Woodpecker everywhere I go.

This area has was popular with the Tufted Titmouse.

My Goldie Girl always enjoys our walks.

I hope you enjoyed my Saturday’s Critter post and I am so happy you stopped by. I appreciate all my blogging friends linking up to Saturday’s Critters.  Thanks for the comments. Have a happy weekend.

I hope to see everyone join in on the critter party,  link up your blog post sharing your cute critters. Any kind of critter will do. I am sure most everyone knows how to put a link on your post for Saturday's Critters. Also, I hope everyone will take some time and visit with some of the other bloggers linking up.......

I am so happy you joined in on  my Critter party....I hope to see you linking up again..

To see more beautiful birds and cute critters

Also please visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin. Also, sharing with Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting.

Thanks for stopping by and  I wish everyone a happy weekend.

It's good for me to be able to see the Goldfinch in it's winter feathers especially, so thanks for sharing that one.

Hi Eileen
Loved your post. Hubby and I have often looked at those round mesh feeders but wondered if they didn't get the seed wet from rain/ you have any problems with the seed going bad in yours? I've seen a round one like that shaped like a snowman that I'd love to get.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
The woodland looks like a great place to explore, especially when accompanied by a furry friend.....

Merry Christmas!
Beautiful birds and nice pictures. Merry Christmas to you too !

We share all of the same birds at our feeders and your crisp, cool walk looks like many of the places I take my Izzi (Mini Aussi) ... so it is possible we live close to each other. Some of Izzi's best friends are Goldens, so they have a special place in my heart. Thank you for this refreshing walk through a part of your life. Have a wonderful, family and friend filled holiday.

Adore all these little ones in your world. The titmouse looks as if he likes a spunky hairdo and the red-bellied woodpecker seems to have a permanent love of fancy dress balls. And your gorgeous dog is simply a beauty.
Happiest Christmas to you.
Wonderful post Eileen. Merry Christmas to all at your wonderful "Nature Park". Thanks for doing this meme; I plan to take part as often as I can after the Holiday season. And thank you for the year-round gift of your beautiful posts.

I love the titmouse - I guess because they are so tiny and flit around so fast! You certainly have quite a variety of birds in your back yard! Have a merry Christmas!
I missed this week, too busy doing things but have enjoyed your photos of the birds. I'd like to reach into my screen and touch the soft feathers of the them.
Nice photo of Goldie Girl.
Merry Christmas Eileen.

If I put up a feeder, I think I'll invite many birds.

They are all sparrows.

By the way, wish you and your family,

and all your feathered friends,

Merry Christmas.
lovely photos, nice selection of birds.

Happy Christmas to you and your family

Very pretty bird pictures, and Goldie looks so cute !
Beautiful bird photography! I love watching birds and feeding them. This time of year I have problems with black bear tearing down my feeders to get the bird seed. They will soon hibernate though.

I love all your pictures!

Michael :-)

Thank you for the good wishes and accept my tardy "Merry Christmas." I have been so busy with choral duties, concerts and church services. I love your feeder shots and miss being able to have a feeder here in south Florida-- not because of regulations (which our HOA does have) but because the feeder gets emptied in minutes by hordes of Muscovy Ducks, pigeons and Monk Parakeets.
