In the Sky

Linking up with Skywatch Friday

I hope everyone is doing good, the weather has been strange this week.. It is teasing us with a few warm days and then Thursday it is dropping down to 19 for the low and 29 degrees for a high..seems Old Man Winter is hanging on for awhile longer. We've been seeing some pretty sunsets lately..lovely pink colors in the sky.

A Blue Jay in my yard.. stopping by for some peanuts. All photos were taken this week either March 9 or 10th.

These are hubby's shots from his walk to our lake.. he saw lots of Canada Geese in seen in the front and the Tundra Swans closer to the trees. They may have found an open water spot, most of the lake is frozen..

Another hubby shot.. the Canada Geese in flight over the lake. Looks like some geese are migrating..We do see the Canada Geese here year round..so they do not all head north..

Hubby's shot of the Canada Geese flying over the lake.

From the deck the sky above our yard...a pretty sundog and a jet and contrail..

My sunset from the deck. Pretty pink colors in my sky..

Hubby's sunset at the lake.

My moon shot was from March 9.. the first quarter moon.  I hope you enjoyed my post and skies..

To see more pretty skies from around the world please visit  Skywatch Friday

Thank you for visiting my post. Maybe you can stop back and join in with my Saturday's Critter party.

Thanks to Sylvia, Yogi  and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday!   I wish everyone a safe and happy long weekend.

I enjoyed your sky shots today Eileen. The geese over the frozen landscape makes for a great shot, so do your pink sunset and hubby's cold sunset. Enjoy your weekend too, and I hope the temperatures settle down at the high end of the scale.

Dearest Eileen;
Marvelous photos of Blue Jay, the Canada Geese in flight. I also love the beautiful pink color sky and clear quarter moon♡♡♡
I learned the word 'sundog' and 'contrail'. I wondered where the word sundog came from p;)

Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

oh, i love the pinks. gorgeous moon. i love when birds fly like that. around here for some reason they don't have enough birds to make much of a "V" ... guess they are missing their friends somewhere along the way or something like that??! ( :
