Saturday's Critters #13

Saturday's Critters #13

It's that time again, I hope to see everyone joining in on my Saturday's Critter party.  Link up your post and have some fun seeing all the different critters..   It is fun to visit with some new bloggers and some old blogging friends.  Either way, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys all the critters.

I was trying to capture a good reflection shot, but the scene looked crowded. The grasses and sky and the heron were all being seen in the reflection.

This is my favorite Great Blue Heron shot.  It was another bird seen at Blackwater NWR last weekend.

Thank you for linking up to the critter party. I appreciate the visits, comments and the support of my blogging friends..

To see more beautiful birds and cute critters

Also please visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin. Also, sharing with Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting.

 Thanks for stopping by and  I wish everyone a happy weekend.

  2. Dearest Eileen;
    There must be many kinds of herons as well; I only know or have ever seen the white one I can see from time to time at the river near my house :-)

  15. Hi Eileen,

    What amazing shots of these beautiful birds; they are so intense, aren't they? Love the first shot, in particular for the vertical lines of the tall, dry grasses and the slightly camouflaged image of the heron. Brilliant.

    Well, it's my very first time joining your lovely party, as I figured I now have some material that is worthy of the critter theme!

    Thanks for hosting and hope you have a lovely weekend!

  52. How wonderful to find your Saturday Critter meme, I definitely plan on joining in on next Saturday. The Great blue heron photos are wonderful, however my love of the dry grasses draws my attention to the first photo you have posted. Perhaps it is the colour that attracts me to grasses as they evoke a feeling of tranquility for me. All of the Heron photos are wonderful!
