Saturday's Critters #137
Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.
I have some Florida birds and a lizard, we saw plenty of anoles or lizards while visiting Florida.
Duck family, the little ones in the grass were so cute.
A Muscovy Duck, they are strange looking.
Laughing Gulls on a light Pole.
Anhinga near the lake.
This lizard has a long tail and weird looking feet. I hope you enjoyed my post and critters. I am looking forward to seeing your critters and post. As always thanks for the visits and the nice comments. I also thank everyone who is linking up and sharing their critters.. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteWow - some great critters - I love the variety. That duck is one crazy critter and the lizard is very interesting - the way it can cling. Happy week end to you my dear.
ReplyDeleteI like the mother duck with cute ducklings and the Muscovy Duck reminds me of the makeup on the Chinese opera singers. Thank you, Eileen for hosting. Have a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI like the Anhinga. It is amazing birds. Don´t know why but I have not seen any ducklings this season :(

ReplyDeleteNice birds! Those anoles have a knack for sneaking into our home. One set off the motion detector on our burglar alarm in Florida while we were in Illinois!

ReplyDeleteI have always thought Muscovy ducks have such a pretty name, but fail to live up to it!!! Love the laughing gulls shot... and am a bit of a fan of lizards! Happy weekend Eileen... YAM xx

Love the ducklings huddled in the grass! The cool thing about Muscovy ducks is they're all different. Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteEileen, like the leapin’ lizard. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletethat little brown anole at the end if one of Leonards and Lizzies cousins.. you will find hundreds of those.. a word to the wise. do not ever feed or pay any attention to the Muscovy Ducks. they are invasive and will take over and bring all their aunts and uncles and cousins to poop on your driveway and any thing else they can find.... been there done that...
ReplyDeleteSandra, thanks for the wise words about feeding the Muscovy ducks. We did see lots of the anole lizzies.
DeleteI love the street lamp shot. Lots of critters today!

ReplyDeleteSome great critters! Of course I loved those baby ducks! :-) Yes, I'm joining in again this week, but I so seldom have any critters to share. That should change once we get to Oregon. At least I'm hoping! :-)

I loved this post, Eileen. The duck and her ducklings are cute; the anhinga is new to me as are the laughing gulls. And the lizard with the spiky feet is pretty special. Thanks for hosting this meme. Have a great day. Jo

All the best Jan
Lots of pretty birds, but I think my favorite is the lizard!
ReplyDeleteSwedish muscovy duck is one variant of Muscovy.
ReplyDeleteDon't you know those baby ducks are soft and sweet! We have SO many lizards here but they can be fun to watch. And if they eat the mosquitoes...more power to them! Enjoy your weekend! LOVE seeing your FL pics! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteYou know I always love your bird pics but the duck family in the grass is special! ;-)

ReplyDeleteNice collection of critters. Yes, the Muscovy duck is strange looking. Looks like it has a big red birthmark.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, Congrats on Saturday's Critters #137. Another excellent set of photos! My favorite this time is the very first shot of the duck family and the little ones in the grass. Yes, so cute! Thanks, as always, for sharing. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteExceptional finds and photography! Gorgeous nature shots!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you ~ ^_^
My favourite pic is the mommy and her babies. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your lizard critter today. When I lived in south Florida they were are constant companions. They always fascinated me. genie
ReplyDeleteLovely photos .
ReplyDeleteThat lizard is quite something!
ReplyDeleteThose lizards are so silly looking (we've had them hanging on our porch screens, they look like those suction cup toys people used to put in their rear car windows). Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
I've never heard of an Anhinga before. It has a neck something like a loon. - Margy
ReplyDeleteNice pictures and especially of that duck. It's indeed very strange looking.
ReplyDeleteDearest Eileen; OMG!!! My husband and I were SO surprised to see Muscovy Duck♪ As I never knew this duck, at first glance it seems like this one has 2 faces; such a funny looking duck p:-) I Googled about this duck(^_^)v
ReplyDeleteHope your not having unbearable muggy hot summer, Dear friend.
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Of course, since the anhingas are very scarce these days in my neck of the woods, that was a special photo share....lovin' these Eileen.
ReplyDeleteYour contribution for us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend has been an awesome experience...thanks!!!
Great photo of a lizard, it made me smile. I bought years ago a tin lizard which is wall art and Mr Wren screwed it on the wall facing downwards, which doesn't feel right. Lizards as you show go up the walls , not down!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Wren x
Good morning Eileen, those babies are just the cutest! You sure know how to delight us with your critters!
ReplyDeleteI love the ducks, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
The gulls and the lizard - beautiful studies in contrast! Sometimes animals just line up perfectly - and so many times you are the one who's there to capture it!
ReplyDeleteLovely birdies, and the anole is cute, too.
ReplyDelete~
Thank you for sharing nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful creatures ♥
