Happy Thankful Thursday!
I am thankful for the nice weather we had over the weekend, pretty skies and warm weather. I prefer nice weather for my walking and outings. So here are some images from our last week of September, some from our yard and the fire road walks and some from our visit to Baker Park in Frederick Md.
I have been seeing a few Monarchs, Fritillary and other butterflies as of Oct 3.

You have a lovely park there Eileen. Just the place for a warm, sunny day. It was heartening to see your Monarch as this year has been very poor for butterflies here, counted on the fingers of one hand most days. See you at weekend.

How beautiful! I love when you can step back and get a photo of lots of sky! We saw LOTS of Canada geese on our trip. It will be fun to see migrating birds soon! Hugs!

I was surprised to see a couple of Monarchs last week after some cool weather here. I hope it got south pretty quickly!
The butterflies are sparse here now and seemed to have headed south. Your capture is a great one. Happy Day.

sunny day is a commodity here, lots of rain. I am still seeing the Monarchs heading through for migration, but the numbers are clear down
