Our World , My World

Hello,

Happy Birthday to my dear Hubby!

Mondays are rolling around pretty quickly, at least for me. After the Thanksgiving holiday I decided to put up my little pre-lit Christmas tree. I enjoy looking at the lights and the ornaments I collected over the years.  I have a cute collection of Santa Ornaments, bird ornaments and some reindeer and various other festive ornaments. Since it is just hubby and I, the only decorating I do is this little tree.

Ornaments for the birdwatcher. I love the owls.

A closer look at the birdwatching ornaments, they are cute.

A few of my Santa ornaments.

Reindeer, dog and butterfly ornaments.

The tree with just the lights. Now, I have the whole month to enjoy the tree.  It will come down right after New Year's Day.

My Christmas ball Cardinal.  He looks like he might explode.

Thanks for your visit today!  I hope you enjoyed my post and photos.

Thanks to Angie the new host of  Mosaic Monday

I hope to see you there. Thanks to the hosts today. Enjoy your day and new week.

  8. Haha! the cardinal looks funny there and you got really cute ornaments and I liked bird watcher… the owl resembles the screeching owl you see often at windows. I am making some craft items using Popsicle sticks to hang on my Christmas tree.

  27. A lovely collection, I just put up a 4 ft tree this year. One year it was real cold so i let a feral cat come in from the barn. it proceeded to eat all the fake birds in my tree. the cat and tree went outside one early morning after many spills.

  30. Eileen - this is my sort of tree, where the ornaments are beloved and have such meaning for you. I have to say, the birdwatching ones made me crack up. (And yes, that has to be one of the puffier cardinals I have ever seen!) Hope the next few Mondays slow down for you, and that you keep bringing your joy to Mosaic Monday.

  42. I would have been completely happy not putting any ornaments on the tree this year...but we did put some. Roger thought it looked naked without any. LOL Don't you love your ornaments you have collected through the years. some of my favorites were broke...I think they became brittle with age. They had been packed the same way they have for years...

And of all years, Bubbie cat has been going through his second kitty-hood and it would not surprise me to see him trying to climb the tree.
