Saturday's Critters # 263

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

I want to thank everyone who has visited and commented on my blog this past year. I wish you all the best in 2019 and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!   


If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I am sharing some of my favorites birds from the past year's blog posts. I hope you enjoy.  I wish everyone a happy, healthy New Year. 

January 2018, a Blue Jay



February 2018, a couple of Blue Birds.



March 2018, the Great Blue Herons return to the neighborhood nest.


April, 2018 a couple of Pine Warblers with a Downy woodpecker.



May 2018, an American Bittern



June 2018, a Summer Tanager


July 2018, Osprey with chicks on nest. 


August 2018,  A Red-headed Woodpecker



September 2018 a couple of Bobolinks. 



October 2018,  on the last day of the month a Brown Creeper


 November 2018, for most of this month the Eastern Screech owl was seen in my front yard.



December 2018, the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker came daily to the feeder.

  11. Beautiful birds all of them. I would love to see the Bluebird with my own eyes. Very nice to look at. And the Osprey nest too. There are a nest I use to check on. But it is too far away. And if I go closer I end up below the nest and see nothing. But that is the way it is.

    Thanks for running the meme. For me it is scarse nowadays but sometimes you get lucky. My post today, Goldcrest, was my best Christmas present.

  27. You had great year Eileen. If I had to pick a winner from today's line-up it would have to be the Osprey family. It's a wonderful picture of a superb raptor.

  56. That yellow bird is so cute. And the red bird is a beauty. The woodpecker is such a handsome fellow. He looks a bit different than ours in California. Our red-headed woodpeckers have partial red heads. Happy New Year Eileen! I hope you find lots of interesting critters to photo in 2019. You're so talented.
