Hello, Happy Thursday!
These are some images from my yard and our neighborhood. Hubby and I took a walk on the local fire road to see the 2nd active Bald Eagle nest located at our lake.
Behind you all your memories, before you all your dreams, around you all who love you, within you all you need.
A view of the Bald Eagle nest, this is the 2nd active Eagle nest we have at our lake. It was hard to see the eagle on the nest, we had a brief glimpse of the Eagle's white head. I assume it has some eggs ready to hatch?
We saw several groups of Common Mergansers on the lake or flying by.
The thankful heart opens our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surrounds us!
Back at home and across from our driveway is the Great Blue Heron rookery.
A look at the sky from our deck!
Small seeds of gratitude will produce a harvest of hope!
Across our driveway are the tall pine trees it is where the Great Blue Herons are nesting.
I am always happy to see the Northern Flicker in my yard and at the suet feeder.

I am thankful for my blessings that are bigger than my problems.

So glad you're here in blogland sharing your life with me. I had a redheaded friend snacking on bugs on one of the trees outside this morning. Thought it might be a flicker. Of course robins are all over the place now, and sweet little sparrows. Your neighbors are so great - herons, eagles, flickers!
Beautiful capture on your natural environment and birds! I just loved the blue sky and the blue heron and the woods.
It's unbelievable how large eagle's nests can get over the years.

Love the heron shot. Love your flicker shot. I finally got one, but he was crouched down in the grass a good distance from the house. It isn't great, but I'll take it. Love the lake view!

Beautiful sights, I love seeing bald eagles, but rarely do which is my fault since we have some good watching sites here in and near Tulsa.
you live in such a lovely area. I sat trying to get close to some mergansers and they moved farther away each time I zoomed in.

You have been blessed with a lot of bird life where you live and so I always love your photos. If I can get time and energy I need to make a special trip to the big park downtown. I love all the shots of the Northern Flicker...I never get an opportunity to photograph them. I see them occasionally but not often at my house.
