Saturday's Critters #280

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

The Northern Flicker posed nicely for me.

Two Purple Finches on my sunflower seed feeder.

A Purple Finch and in the background the Pine Siskin. April 16th I was still seeing 4-5 Pine Siskins at my feeders.

I've been hearing the Eastern Phoebe before I finally saw in my yard. I have not seen one yet but I have also heard the Wood Thrush singing in the forest next to our home.  They have a lovely song.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni.

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Love the Flickers----so beautiful. I really like the Purple Finches. They are so timid around my feeders. I have not seen the Phoebe---such a delicate looking bird.

The first bird "Northern Flicker" is kind of special because I think this is my first time seeing this bird. All these beautiful birds love to visit your yard because of the abundant food waiting for them. Thank you, Eileen for hosting and have a great weekend!

Spring is definitely on the way Eileen. Those Purple Finches are really bright and the Eastern Phoebe a new arrival on your patch. Maybe the flicker is posing up looking for a summer mate too?

Thanks for the meet-up today and enjoy your weekend,

That northern flicker shot is awesome! I don't think I have ever seen a purple finch. If I have, I probably thought it was a house finch. Hope you are having a great weekend!

Wow, that is quite a pose from your Northern Flicker he seems so very proud of himself, and he's quite the looker too. I hope your weekend is more springy than not, we were spared so far, and no new snow in sight! Here's to warmer sunny weather for all. Take care Eileen.

Wow! Loved your detail capture on the graceful Northern flicker… I could see how blissful it should be to live next by forest to listen the lovely songs of birds. I love visiting my uncle’s woodhouse in the mountains esp. to hear and see birds.

I adore the photo of the Flickr!!! It is BEAUTIFUL Eileen...a great shot!! The Phoebes show up have been here a while and have picked the same nest locations as last year. It's been so rainy and chilly here that I haven't sat outside to hear many songbirds. However, the Bluebirds are back which is WONDERFUL as are the regulars....:)JP
