Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
The Northern Flicker posed nicely for me.
Two Purple Finches on my sunflower seed feeder.
A Purple Finch and in the background the Pine Siskin. April 16th I was still seeing 4-5 Pine Siskins at my feeders.
I've been hearing the Eastern Phoebe before I finally saw in my yard. I have not seen one yet but I have also heard the Wood Thrush singing in the forest next to our home. They have a lovely song.
I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !
Here is a list of my linky parties;

Wow! Loved your detail capture on the graceful Northern flicker… I could see how blissful it should be to live next by forest to listen the lovely songs of birds. I love visiting my uncle’s woodhouse in the mountains esp. to hear and see birds.
ReplyDeleteI adore the photo of the Flickr!!! It is BEAUTIFUL Eileen...a great shot!! The Phoebes show up have been here a while and have picked the same nest locations as last year. It's been so rainy and chilly here that I haven't sat outside to hear many songbirds. However, the Bluebirds are back which is WONDERFUL as are the regulars....:)JP
ReplyDeleteGreat looking birds! I haven't had a wood thrush around in a while, would love to hear one!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the nicest photos of the Flucker I’ve ever seen. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen.
ReplyDeleteyikes... i gotta have my glasses change. For a moment there i saw the red patch on the Northern Flicker and thought it's its beak. LOL
I never tire of looking at bird photos. I love hearing our Phoebes...it is so helpful when a bird calls its name!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of that northern flicker :)
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful birds here Eileen, and yes, the Northern Flicker did indeed pose nicely for you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They are all beautiful, but since I have never managed a good shot of a flicker, I am partial to this one.
