Love the "sticky-out" foot of the gosling in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
Hello Eileen.
ReplyDeleteWonderful serie of birds. Eastern Bluebird looks so beautiful. Have a great weekend.
Thank you.
Nice to see the feather critters out with their young or alone by itself. Thank you for hosting and have a wonderful weekend, Eileen.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, and the goslings are so cute.
Happy Weekend!
Trevlig helg!

ReplyDeleteHave peaceful weekend!!! YAM xx
The baby goslings are so cute. The photo of the Eastern Blue bird is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day weekend to you too and thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteNice series of photos of these different birds.
The last photo is my favorite.
Do you want to add my link, I cannot do it.
Best regards, Irma
I have found that kingbird nests are often very well hidden. Up in Illinois there was a goose with gosling and a gander which was extremely aggressive. They had to shut down the boardwalk because it would physically attack humans who ventured near.
ReplyDeletethose goslings are adorable and the bird in the green leaves is so beautiful, the one with the balls hanging from the trees
ReplyDelete...I see that you have no shortage of geese either. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteCanada Geese with young warms my good Canadian heart!
ReplyDeleteUm SHOW de fotos,um encanto pra nossos olhos! Ótimo fim de semana! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteLove those little baby goslings!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Hi Eileen, Hope you had an excellent week and enjoyed the blog break. I am going to need one of those myself soon. This morning I enjoyed all your pics but especially the Canada Geese like I've been seeing at Green Lake on my walks. So, hope it's OK, I'm linking up my post from yesterday which featured some goslings. Quick question: Can I link up two posts under one Saturday's Critters? Thanks, as always, for hosting. And thanks for your comments on my blog ... I always appreciate them. Have a happy long weekend! John
ReplyDeleteHi John, sure, you can link up as many post as you like. I like following your Green Lake walks. I appreciate your comments too, enjoy your day and weekend.
DeleteThe birds make me so happy! Everyone is nesting. Of course, I'll not find some of them until fall, when the leaves fall.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! Have a great one!
such a joy to look at these precious creatures of dear Lord my friend!
ReplyDeleteyou are amazing at your capturing indeed!

DeleteHi Again Eileen, Thanks for letting me add another post to today's Saturday's Critters. More critters to share from this morning's walk. Happiness to you! :-) John
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen. I must echo your first sentence. The bond between our two countries so far apart is an important and I hope everlasting one. Soon in the UK we commemorate the D Day landings in France which helped to save Europe from domination by Germany. Have a great weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Phil! My dad was on Normandy Beach on the day after D Day. He always had tremendous respect for our allies. Our bond with them keeps all of us safe!
DeleteBeautiful capture on the birds and goose families! Happy Weekend Eileen
ReplyDeleteWonderful critters you captured with your lens, Eileen. Hope you have a very meaningful Memorial Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is a good one it's hotter than the 4th of July here! The goslings are very cute!
ReplyDeleteFavorite is the bird in the nest in the tree ~ all very lovely photos!

Goslings are a thing these days here too.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a load of Goose couples but haven't spotted any babies yet. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe goslings grow fast.
ReplyDeleteHashawha Nature Center looks like a very nice place to explore and enjoy all the critters. Enjoy your day abd the holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery nice ! I love the Goose !
ReplyDeleteAlways like seeing the goslings.
ReplyDeleteLike the bluebird photo!!
Hello Eileen! I saw a beautiful, similar sight at my daughter's house last week alongside the pond that backs up to their yard. A mother Canada Goose was fussing over her wee ones - balls of soft fluff! At home, my husband fills a bird feeder and we both enjoy seeing different species flitter about. So do our 6 cats! (Through the window only, of course! - They never go outside!)
ReplyDeleteI finally have a critter post to share with you! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI love your birds! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots.
ReplyDeleteDearest Eileen; Sweet Eastern Bluebird♪ Among the GORGEOUS collections of birds; I loved the one "Eastern Kingbirds in nest". I can see swallows flying often recently, and hoped catch them with nest. Haha, no success!!!
ReplyDeleteGetting very hot here in my area, take care and Have a wonderful new week.

Wonderful bird photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see all of these....I have not been anywhere to see baby geese this year.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen, and I'm hoping your Memorial Day celebrations are not happening in the pouring rain as we have here. Although it's rained on this day before, still planning on going. My son in law is currently deployed now and it's always been a major part of my world. You sure have been to more incredible places, and your captures are outstanding. Happy trails enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs Eileen … hope you've had a good memorial day weekend.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
All the babies are getting big! Love this season!
