Saturday's Critters #293

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I have been enjoying the birds and butterflies seen in my yard.  The Buddleia Bush or also known as the Butterfly Bush is great for attracting different species of butterflies. In the 2nd and 3rd weeks of July I was seeing many Tiger Swallowtails, Fritillary and the Monarch butterflies.

This Ruby-throated Hummingbird likes to sit in my blueberry bush.

The Ruby-throated Hummingbirds like to sit on the branches of the Buddleia, their feeders are close by. Below it is perch right on the hook for the feeder.

I am seeing lots of the Tiger Swallowtail butterflies, they are lovely.

The first Monarch in my yard seen on July 20th.

The Monarch Butterfly

Black Swallowtail

Carolina Wren is a cutie, I love to hear them sing.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni.

Thank you Eileen, always, for sharing your close-up and wonderful photos. I feel lucky when a bee stays still enough for a photo - catching wonderful humming birds ... that is special.

Hello Eileen,
These are nice series of photos.
The bee-eater is really great, just like the butterflies.
Do you want to place my link, I still can't do it.
Best regards, Irma

Dearest Eileen; Your Ruby-throated Hummingbird is so lovely. I thought Carolina Wren has unique tail; when I opened picture , sure they have♡♡♡ Your butterfly pictures are gorgeous as well; I often feel discouraged recently as I always miss the chance taking pictures of them p-;)
Wishing you will have a wonderful coming weekend and new week.
Lots of hugs and Love; Miyako*

I am envious of your hummingbirds. I had only females and immatures this past winter. Maybe better luck as migration approaches. The butterflies and bees are nearly absent in our neighborhood. I am lucky to see only 2 or 3 butterflies on the morning walks. There may be more by afternoon, but this is unprecedented. Our Carolina Wrens have started singing again after several weeks of silence, perhaps because of molting.

I love watching our hummingbirds. Some days there are lots at the feeders, and others just a few. Must be some are just moving through the area. - Margy
