Happy Monday,
I am linking up with Lydia of Where the Wild Things Were and the Favorite Fotos linky. Thanks Lydia for hosting the party.
More from Iceland, this area from our Snaefellsnes Peninsula was seen in the movie Game of Thrones. Hubby and I loved all the waterfalls, glaciers and the mountain views in Iceland.
The famous Mount Kirkjufell
Kirkjufellsfoss or Kirkjufell Waterfalls
I'm watching you!
A pretty view
Lots of gulls on this beach area.
Mount Kirkjufell and the waterfalls.

What a wonderful trip, I would love to see that in reality☺
Hello Eileen,
what unique landscapes! And correct weather too... ;)
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great week ahead!
Beautiful images of Iceland, but, it's too cold for me. Lovely landscape Eileen.
It's perfect for shooting movies...very other worldly! I would love to see it in person. What beauty!
How beautiful and wild! The sheer scale of the nature is so impressive. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Bob, we actually had warm weather on this day. Thanks for the comment.
Such a rugged landscape. It reminds me of the area around Scottsbluff, NE. Regardless the photos are really beautiful! Thank you, it's been a pleasure to visit here!
I have not visited Iceland, but read a few books from there. It is a peculiar small country with only 300 000 inhabitants!
Wonderful photography of Iceland and its falls too ~ ^_^

Beautiful photos Eileen, it must have been a wonderful trip.
I have heard that Iceland is greener than the name would imply and actually somewhat warmer than Greenland. I can see by the haunting beauty of the region why the location was perfect for the series.
...a gorgeous spot, thanks for sharing!
So pretty and spare. Quite a change from our area of the world.
What a beautiful country

My BFFs went to Iceland last year and said it was beautiful. Did you do the ice caves? They loved them!...:)jp

Beautiful pics of this wondrous landscape, Eileen!
a beautiful collection Eileen - you always share the prettiest photos
Sure is a gorgeous view, I can't think of what scenes that's in offhand, do you know? Those sheep are incognito, lol. Double waterfalls, like a trip to the waterpark.
Beautiful and bleak scenes.
Beautiful photos, Eileen.
Have a wonderful week.
Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful photos. Such an epic trip. Keep on posting.

Such beautiful views! I did enjoy seeing all of these.
Such gorgeous scenes from Iceland. No trees, though, just wide open spaces punctuated by green mountains.
Eileen - beautiful views - it is a massive landscape, isn't it? Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
How very gorgeous!

That's one of my travel dreams going to Iceland, it seems it is so beautiful !!
Pretty. But desolate.
I admit that I think Iceland is a land of ice so am always surprised when I see photos saying otherwise. :-)
Wonderful views and such gorgeous blue skies too.
Wishing you a lovely week.
All the best Jan
I'm with Gattina - I know I would love Iceland and your photos just prove it! All that fresh air and beautiful scenery and the walks! Keep those photos coming Eileen!

Beautiful scenery Eileen, that sheep is so cute looking at you :) Enjoy the rest of your week!
Iceland certainly seems to be an amazing place to visit. I have several friends who have been there. Unfortunately it is a long way from Australia, so thank you for taking us there. Happy travels and thank you for stopping by my blog this week.
