Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
I noticed I have a few blogs I follow on my side bar that do not update with the current post, they stay at the bottom of the list even though the blog has a new post. Does anyone know how to keep the list updated with current post?
Feb 4th, a pretty sunny and blue sky day for our walk.We take this fire road walk to see how the Bald Eagle nest is coming along. We have been seeing the Bald Eagles nesting for years now at our local Prettyboy Reservoir.
We love visiting with our grandsons and the grand-dogs, Nibbles and Winnie are cute critters.
Here is another critter puzzle we have finished recently. I love the Orca whales, I had a brief glimpse of one while on an Alaska cruise.
Thank you for sharing your critters and post!
Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.
Here is my linky:

Cool captures.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Thank you for your critter link and comment.
DeleteTake care, have a great weekend.
Your walk looks nice, especially the nesting eagles. I don't know why it takes time to update the list of blogs. I just checked, and my post from earlier in the week was listed rather than the one that posted a little while ago. Mysterious, but I suspect there's nothing you can do about it as it's up to Blogger.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thank you Mae, for your critter link and comment.

Good Morning, dear Eileen. First, I must say, I don't know how refresh the List of Blogs. Sorry about.
ReplyDeleteYour Birdwatching, especially the Bald Eagles. And of course, it must be unforgetable viewing Orca whales. Now, I wish you and your family a wonderful weekend. Hugs bei Heidrun
Thank you Heidrun, for your critter link and comment.

ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your birds, Eileen, but today I am particularly admiring the dogs and the very fine jigsaw! As for the blog list, it appears to be in order from this side of viewing... though pruning any that haven't posted for more than a year might be good blog discipline!😉 YAM xx
Thank you Yam, for your comment and your visit.
DeleteYes, my blog list did need to be pruned.
Take care, have a great weekend.

Eileen, I just wanted to say a big thank you to you. Since yesterday was compliment day, I wanted to give you a compliment for hosting the Saturday Critters Link-Up. I joined in years ago, and you're still doing it, which is awesome! Thank you for that. I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIn this post, I love the dogs, but also the American Bald Eagle.

I wish I could help on the update issue and hope someone can offer a solution. You always see wonderful sights on your walks. Thanks for sharing them with us. The photos of your granddogs are really sweet and how lovely to get to see your grandchildren. The orca puzzle is very nice. I have never seen one. What a joy that would be. Thank you Eileen and have a wonderful day and weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise, for your comment and your visit.
DeleteThe orcas are a joy to see, we do love visiting with our grandchildren and the granddogs.
Take care, have a great weekend.
I don’t know how to fix the blog update issue and I suspect that the way it is appearing is inherent in the system. Blogger is renowned for illogical practice it seems to me. You are better off admiring Bald Eagles.
ReplyDeleteThank you David, for your visit and comment. I do love watching the eagles, we are lucky to see them in our neighborhood. Have a great weekend.
DeleteAnother beautiful post, Eileen. Thank you for hosting and have a great new week!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick, I appreciate your link and comment. Have a great day and happy week ahead.

ReplyDeleteI love the fake deer sighting. I always imagine things in the forest. Happy puzzling.
Thank you Jenn, for linking up and sharing your post.
DeleteI did just go and delete a few of the old blogs. I'll have to check on some, make they are just not updating.
Take care, have a great weekend.
...Eileen, you found so many critters, I only found a few. Thanks for hosting the party. Be well.

ReplyDeleteThanks Red, for your visit and comment. I would love to see the Belugas in the wild, I have only seen them in aquariums. Have a great weekend.
DeleteI love how you are out hiking and exploring I am guessing almost every day and that you enjoy your family especially grandkids and grand dogs. I know our Kodi the Pomeranian loves visiting his Nana (my wife's mother). She cannot have dogs any more but she loves Kodi and spoils him.

Eileen,
ReplyDeleteGreetings to you from Seattle. It fascinated me to stop by Saturday’s Critters this morning and see that we are both posting about Bald Eagles today. 😊It is a joy to see your pictures and the eagles at nearby Prettyboy Reservoir. This morning I spotted a pair of Bald Eagles … I believe they nest right here near my home, but I have yet to discover where their nest is located. I usually see them zooming around in the morning when I figure they are looking for breakfast. 😊 Today, with a wind in the air, they stopped at the top of a nearby tree and I grabbed my camera. Got a few shots, definitely not perfect, but nice to catch them at rest and together. Thanks for hosting and sharing another Saturday’s Critters. I enjoyed the pics of Nibbles and Winnie … and, wow, that Orca puzzle … as you can imagine, that puzzle must be a top seller to folks in Seattle. A happy weekend to you and yours!
John
Thank you John! I enjoyed seeing your Bald Eagle pair, I hope they are nesting nearby. Maybe you can find their nest.
DeleteI also think you photos are wonderful, well done. Take care, enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie, for your link and comment!
DeleteWe end up chasing the ducks across the lake too, they are shy.

Hello Eileen
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for another lovely Saturday Critters post, I certainly enjoyed your photographs, especially Nibbles and Winnie, and yes, they are cute critters.
I'm sorry but I can not help on the blog update issue, the only suggestion I could make is for you to remove the blog that is not updating properly and link it again. I'm not 100% sure this will work though.
I'm still finding blogger is causing problems with commenting!
Enjoy your weekend, and have a happy month of March.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan! I have deleted and added again the few blogs that do not refresh. I will give up and leave them as is, seems there is no easy fix. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great new week!

ReplyDelete...the post, dear Eileen, is once again wonderful to read and I really enjoy delving into your reports and pictures.
By the way, when it comes to strong beer: I grew up in Munich and love a glass of good dark beer. Just like Guinness in Ireland. However, I can only drink a thimbleful of strong beer, which tastes really nice and malty.
Thanks for sharing with MosaicMonday I'm very happy about it again.
I wish you and your family a pleasant week, hugs
Heidrun
Thank Heidrun! I did not try the Guinness in Ireland, I should at least give it a try. Have a great day and happy week ahead.

Thank you Tanza, for your link and comment! Take care, have a great day!
DeleteWonderful Eagle shots... I can't help you with your blog list.. Mine always seems to stay the same. The problem I am having is getting notified in my email when several of my bloggers post. You are one of those. I always used to get email notification from your blog. But a year or so ago I stopped getting them for several blogs... the others continue. Unfortunately for those that don't I have to rely on my memory to check on them so I can comment. That doesn't always work. Blogger is always changing things. Usually not for the better. One of your recent posts, I think it was a Monday picture shows a lot of ferns in a wooded area. It's a beautiful picture. Enjoy the rest of your week
ReplyDeleteThank you Missy! I always enjoy seeing the Eagles, we are lucky to have this Eagle nest close to home.
DeleteThe fern photo is from Washington State trip, a hike in the rainforest. I will live with Blogger and it's many changes. Take care, enjoy your day!
Buenas fotos del águila volando. Gracias por compartir. Preciosa naturaleza Eileen..

DeleteTus paseos siempre me gustan. Las águilas calvas son preciosas, por aquí no hay, pero hay otras variedades. Los perros son lindos, también me encantó el rompecabezas. Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa, for your comment and visit. The Eagles are a treat to see! Take care, have a great day and happy weekend.
