Saturday's Critters # 585

Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

Happy March everyone, wishing everyone a great month!

March is the month to celebrate new beginnings, March 9th is the start of daylight savings time and the first day of Spring is March 20th.

This is a mish-mash of critters and photos. The images are from the end of January into the beginning of February. Photos of our dog Miney, the yard birds I see daily and our grand-dogs. Our grandsons shared a birthday party on Feb 1st, we were happy to be there to celebrate their birthdays.

Click on images for better viewing.

1. Jan 28th, Miney is a big part of our lives now.  We try to take her for a daily walk on the local fire road. On this day the trail was still covered with snow and the reservoir looked frozen and also covered with snow.

2. Jan 29th, we took Miney for a dog bath to the local dog grooming business. Below is a mural that was in the grooming business.

3. Jan 30th, we took Miney out for a morning walk on the fire road.

4. Feb 1st, our two grandsons Wyatt and Mason had a combo birthday party.  I've posted before about our grandsons birthdays but these images are from the actual birthday party.  Pop-pop is holding Sophie a few days from being 7 months old.

5. Winnie our grand-dog is always happy to see us.

6. The Northern Mockingbird is a bully in my yard, he does not like sharing the food or water.

7. The Dark-eyed Juncos are my winter birds, they are seen in my yard and they enjoy the suet nuggets I put on the deck railing.

8. Critter flashback to March 2024, a mosaic sharing our grand-dogs. Nibbles (no longer with us) the mixed breed part shepherd and Winnie the Corgi.

I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday  I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.

Hello Eileen,
This is a beautiful series of photos and collages.
With us, summer time starts on March 29, always different because they only switch to summer time the last weekend in March.
You really captured the mockingbird beautifully.

Dear Eileen, Miney is an extremely pretty dog - and after her bath in the dog salon she was certainly even prettier 🥰. The mural in the grooming business is also very nice.
Happy birthday again to your grandchildren! That must have been fun! Did you actually manage to eat all three huge cakes? Hihi, Sophie is grabbing grandpa's glasses, all babies like to do that 😜😉. I'm also very happy to see your granddog(s) again. In the collage from 2024 I can even see Nibbles, who has unfortunately already crossed the rainbow bridge... Fortunately Winnie the Corgi is well and in a good mood! Thank you also for your bird photos - it's always a pleasure to see your garden visitors.
All the best from Austria, Traude

Hello Eileen :)
It's a shame the Mockingbird is a bully. You took such a good photo of this attractive bird. Lovely photos of your grand-childrens birthdays it was a nice family occasion, and nice that everyone was together. I'm so sorry you lost Nibbles, but Miney will give you lots of exercise and affection. Also Winnie looks so happy to see you in the photo, I love corgis, a corgi was our family dog when I was growing up and he was so intelligent.
Many thanks for hosting Eileen and have a "WHITE RABBIT" month of March.
All the best
Sonjia.

Hi Eileen! Your new dog and granddog are very photogenic and I knoiw you love them both as they add so much enoyment to life. I am almost embarressed to post as I only have one bird photo on my post so I waited until late afternoon to do so. I weas surprised not to see more wildlife in RMNP on our visit as we always saw much more in fall and summer but I guess the wildlife is more secluded in winter. Have a wonderful week
