1. The Peacock visits our deck late January, he feels safe as long as Miney is inside the house. Just days later the yard was covered with snow.
2. Miney does not seem to mind the snow, she likes going outside.
I often think of our first two dogs, Sunshine was a yellow Labrador and Daisy was a Golden Retriever. I will always miss them, they were great dogs. They both loved playing fetch, hiking and swimming.
3. Not a critter but I thought it was a pretty skywatch. One evening I watched the sunset turn the sky pink/purple and the trees were still covered with ice/snow.
From my archives I am sharing various critters seen during our travels.
A group of adult and juvenile Bald Eagles seen at the Neah Bay marina, Washington state.
Below are two moose, a mama and her calf seen in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
6. Seals seen at the Nisqually NWR in Washington state.
From our visit to a sheep farm in Ireland.
A herd of elk seen off the road to the Olympic coastline in Washington state.
Seen off the wildlife drive in the Savannah NWR in Georgia, we saw a baby alligator sitting on top of a turtle.
I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.
