1. Miney love the walks and the warmer weather.
2. A mosaic sharing my yard birds, the Carolina Wren, and the Bluebird couple.
The Carolina Wren is singing loudly.
The male Bluebird is so pretty!
3. He showed off the colors on his back and his chest.
The female sits nearby, looking pretty too.
4. A quick walk with Miney up and down our street, these were some of the birds I could hear.
Lunch visit with son, DIL and grand-kiddies and Winnie the Corgi.
It was nice to finally see our Daffodils blooming.
5. Hubby enjoys a walk with Miney on the fire road, it is good for him to get outdoors walking.
6. On the dialysis days, it is usually just me and Miney taking a walk on the local fire road. The trees were still bare at this time, you can see the lake through the trees. The trees are starting to get the reddish buds.
7. The Peacock was sitting in a tree in the back of our yard. He was showing off his pretty tail feathers.
8. We must have had a bear visit early on this day, my bird feeder made of metal was bent and twisted. I found the bent feeder on the ground at the bottom of our deck steps. Miney could smell the bear, her hair was standing up and she was barking crazy. I did not actually see the bear but we have had them visited our yard last year.
I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Good morning, dear Blogfriend Eileen! Indeed I love the songs of the birds early in sunrise. A wonderful mood each day. I enjoyed walking with you and Miney again.

The blue bird is really gorgeous! And like Miney, we enjoy our daily walk and warm weather is definitely a bonus. Happy Saturday, Eileen!
Very cheerful birds.
Loved all the critters!
Wish you a great weekend!
Hello, Hope you are doing fine. Beautiful post. Awesome pics, Peacock looks great. So beautiful birds. Loved you post. Happy weekend. Thanks a lot for hosting.
So many sweet birds but huiiii, a bear! But at least you have Miney to warn you in time! Have a safe and great Saturday, here it really will warm up (they said).
Impressive what happened to your metal feeder! It must have been the bear, for sure. My neighbour saw a wolf in her garden last week. We are surrounded! 😉
Thanks for sharing the beautiful birds.
All the best to you and your hubby. Happy weekend!
Hello Eileen,
What a great series of photos and collages this is.
I think the Merlin app is great, I use it too.
It seems really scary to me that bears could just walk onto your patio.
I wish you a very good weekend.
All the best, Irma
When I was in India recently, it was remarkable to see Peacocks as a wild bird. And seeing dozens of then asleep in trees was a bit of a surprise too!

Oh my word, that poor feeder! Your garden visitors never fail to amaze, from feather to fur!!! Be safe, have a super weekend. YAM xx
Yes, this bluebird really has the right name....I can almost hear them sing....Oh, you are visited by bears...how dangerous. Or is it only a small bear? Have a good time and all the best
Violetta
I have my own Saturday Critters this week! That Merlin app is simply amazing, so much work must have went into developing it.
That is amazing all the birds you can hear! I had a new bird, a kinglet. Haven't heard it since, and impossible to photograph! Ah, birding challenges! All the best to both of you, and Miney.
That is quite the collection of birds to hear from just walking on your street! Nice to know that your husband gets out walking with you, I see the binoculars around his neck. Wishing you a wonderful May full of nature's sights and sounds!
...Eileen, you have so much to enjoy. The bluebirds, peacock and of course your little cuties, but I can do without the bear!!! Be well.
Good morning Eileen :)
Beautiful photo of the fabulous Peacock's tail feathers. There is such an abundance of birds in your area, you can't see them, but it must be nice to hear them on your walks with Miney. I'm sorry your feeder is a damaged beyond repair, how scary that a bear can.enter your property, I'm glad noone got injured.
Eileen, I am having difficulty linking up again, I have no idea why this keeps happening, please can you link me up, I'm sorry to inconvenience you but would be so thankful if I can join the party.
Thank you for hosting and have a happy weekend.

Good you are getting nicer weather to enjoy walks and the outside. Love using the Merlin app too. Have a lovely week.
Hello Eileen,
The Bluebird and the Peacock are so beautiful.
It sounds absolutely awful that you have been visited by a bear! I understand that Miney smelled it and is barking like crazy.
Beautiful daffodils!
Take care, and have a great day and weekend!
Love the new header...a clear straight path ahead! Of course all your birds are most welcome to see, and I hear mine here as well...mostly robins these days.
Your little guys are getting so big! That looks like a fun day. Gorgeous birds (and probably birdsong, too!) and of course I adore Miney!
Gorgeous birdies!
Good morning Eileen :)

It's surprising how many birds you can pick up just from sounds.
The male Bluebird is so blue, Eileen. I have never seen one.
Blogger doesn't seem to be updating all the posts in their portal so i am glad that you are still here even though it didn't show up.
Hi Eileen! I always enjoy seeing Miney out with you on your walks, and, adding to the happiness, the grand-kiddies and Winnie. Re the Bluebirds: I think I’ve mentioned before that Bluebirds are some of my favorites and thanks for sharing your photos. So interesting to see all the birds you could hear as they showed up in your ID app. Always neat to see your Peacock! Wow on the bear visit … he/she sure did a number on the feeder! Thanks, as always, for hosting and sharing Saturday’s Critters! Happy week ahead to you and hubby! John
Love all the sweet photos of the birds. Fun to see how your grands have grown, too. Yikes that bear really did a number on the feeder. Happy May to you!
Sure like the blue bird photos!
Wow the bear really did a number on the feeder.
We've been enjoying seeing all the different birds that now come to our feeder. We take ours inside during the night because of the bears.
You captured some great bird shots for this post. Grandbabies are the best, aren't they? Have a blessed week!
Wishing you and your husband a wonderful weekend, Eileen! Haha I sometimes smile wondering if we walk our dogs or the dogs walk us. :)
Before our new fence we used to have fox, raccoons, possums, and feral cats visit. No bears!!
I love the Merlin app, it is nice knowing what birds are out there when hiking or walking or even in the backyard.
I love all the birds in your backyard. We are starting to see male and female eastern bluebirds. They are the prettiest birds. I love house wrens, so small but such a loud voice.
I'm glad your husband can go along with you on off days from treatment.
Hi Eiellen
So sorry for the late hook up--we were helping at a volunteer event in our community since early morning. I love how many birds the Merlin App hears and identifies on your walks! You definitely live in a wonderful area to see many different birds, The male bluebirds are so pretty! At this time of the year I am seeing maninly finches flying around my yard, but I also saw my first hummingbird this week!
