Saturday's Critters #91
Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.
I am sharing some critters I have seen around my yard like the bunny, Mourning Dove, Great Spangled Fritillary butterfly and one of my Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
One day I noticed this Red-eyed Vireo perched in one of our backyard trees.
A cute baby bunny is checking me out.
Spread your wings and fly. Or just laze around and cool off on a hot day.. one of my many Mourning Doves.
Cardinal cooling off on a hot day.
Two Great Spangled Fritillary butterflies. It is the most common butterfly seen in my yard this summer.
Ruby-throated Hummingbird.....Close your eyes and take a nap!
Since a lot of my photos are taken thru my dining room window they look a little fuzzy to me, maybe I should open the window and hang out. Above is a juvenile Scarlet Tanager. I have been seeing a few of these juveniles hanging around the berries in my yard.
I hope you enjoyed my collection of birds and critters. Thank you for stopping by and for the nice comments. As always thank you to everyone who is linking up to my Saturday's Critter party. Have a great weekend!

Oh I love the Vireo - I've never seen one and the bunny is so cute. It looks so peaceful in your yard with all your bird friends (and the bunny) and the butterflies.
I enjoy seeing the varieties you present.
I love the image of the little Scarlet Tanager sitting in the middle of it´s dinner :)
Thanks for hosting and have a great week.
Hi! The bunny is very cute. I enjoyed your photos very much. I caught cold. sorry not to visit your post soon.
Great critters all of them. I love the cute little bunny. Have a wonderful weekend, Eileen!
Another super series of photos Eileen. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend.
Ah, just love that bunny. Keep him in your yard, though. They eat too many of my flowers already!!
Hope you have a good weekend, Eileen
Nice that birds can do that on a hot day:) Have a great weekend!
Very beautiful photos! The litte bunny was so cute :)
Happy Saturday!
The Vireo is a super image...they're elusive around here, difficult to get a photo as good as yours.
Thanks again Eillen for hosting this great linkup!
Your photos are just wonderful, especially the bunny - I can even see the veins in its ears and I love the shot of the cardinal taking a dip!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Good morning Eileen. Thank you for allowing everyone to share heir pictures across the world today. I'm especially taken by your pictures of the Morning Dove and the Cardinal dealing with the sunny weather in their own special way. The Great Spangled Fritillary is a lovely butterfly and you captured its beauty very well.
Have a great weekend.
Your birds are all so cute, ruffly hummer, bathing Cardinal, and I love mourning doves, so sweet, always cooing. I see a fair amount of rabbits in my yard, they usually freeze like I won't see them.
Another wonderful collection!

Got some true beauties in here today!!! Love the cardinal shot... YAM xx
Hello Eileen, your photos are always beautiful but this time all the critters look also so incredibly cute! :)
My favourite is the Vireo, and the butterfly shot is gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing and enjoy your weekend!
O que te dizer? LINDAS! Adorei! Muito lindas todas! bjs, e ótimo fim de semana, chica
How great yo have so many critters so close to home!
I also take photographs of my garden birds through a window but it cannot be opened. I always love seeing what birds turn up in your garden adn these are all lovely. I also now have a couple of bird baths and at leas the birds have decided to use them so the Cardinel shots is lovely. I have not put any of my garden birs on for ages, too busy playing catch up with ALL my photographs (that is NEVER going to happen!) but I must rectify that one of these days. That butterfly is really special and so beautiful. Many thanks for hosting and have a lovely weeknd Eileen.
What a wonderful collection of critters, Eileen. You're blessed to have bunnies (and a baby, to boot) and the beautiful butterflies in your yard. What is the long-thin-billed bird? (it's wet in your photo) I love your images and think they're very clear. You take really good photos, Eileen and I love seeing your wildlife and birds. Thanks for hosting this meme. Have a great day. Jo
Oh no, I made a mistake: the long-billed bird isn't wet; it has its eyes closed! Sorry:(
the cardinal bathing made me smile, the sun coming through the bunnies ears is awesome. so beautiful
sweet birds, butterflies and bunny, too. :) thanks for hosting, eileen!
Wow! Superb captures with the birds, bunny and butterflies... and wonderful light over the bunny. The cardinal seems enjoying the bath
Eileen, like the bird bath action. Thanks for sharing.
awww beautiful captures. Kudos. Love your critters
Hi Eileen,
The Cardinal in the 'Bird Swimming Pool' is quite the catch!
And, so are the others - very nice snaps.
Thanks for hosting.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
I do love your critters!!!
Cute bunny with the see through ears. And love the bathing beauty cardinal. Happy Day!
Birds, Bunnies and Butterflies...a great combination of photos today, Eileen, as always!
Wonderful collection, Eileen! I take a lot of pictures through my windows too, good excuse to keep them clean, lol! Have a wonder-filled weekend!
I just can't imagine living in a place that has so many choice birds right outside my window. I have to go over to the state park to see anything unusual and even then it seems to be slim pickins. Love your series and your pictures aren't fuzzy ... your window is clean, Ha! Good for you, I speak from experience having taken pictures through a dirty window :)

Nice collection of animal shots. I especially like the action shot of the cardinal in the birdbath.
I found your photos even better than ever . . .
Love the Mourning Dove . . . I find their feather coloring so soft and beautiful . . .
Good morning and happy Saturday to you too Eileen. What a sweet bunny, and your cardinal mama is just having a happy spa day, but your butterflies are gorgeous and I wonder if we don't have them here too. Thanks for giving their name so I can check it out. They look very much like one I've seen this summer too, but yours have an incredible almost heart like shape on them. Very nice. Enjoy your weekend.
Splish, splash, a cardinal bath. Nice!
That last shot is just stunning!
A great selection of critters once again, Eileen. It's wonderful they are all from your yard!
Hello Eileen,

All the best Jan
Hello Eileen!:) Thank you for your visit. These are all such delightful images, beautiful shot of the Great Spangled Fritillary, one I never get to see here, and the bathing Cardinal, and..... well they are all great. Lovely post! Will be joining in the fun next week.Take care.
This is a lovely variety of animals. Have a nice weekend!
Your photos look fine to me Eileen although I find too there is a bit of glare from the window when I do the same. There were lots of bunnies here in the spring but not too many around lately, maybe we finally have a predator in the neighbourhood!
Happy Saturday.
Your birds are striking interesting poses! Fine work.
Great pictures of birds when I try to take pictures of birds I end up with lots of empty spaces.
Merle....
Thanks for stopping by this weekend and linking up at I'd Rather B Birdin' Eileen...always a pleasure!!!
Love that Cardinal splashing about.
I guess the hummingbird is resting up (and drinking up) to get ready for the big migration over the Gulf.

Beautiful feather friends photography but my favorite is the bunny ~ Gorgeous photos!
Happy Weekend to you,

What a wonderful selection of yard critters Eileen. The fritillary shot is beautiful.
Hi Eileen,
I find all you critters very cute, today, and I know some of them are also pretty good crooners, too!
Happy Sunday!

All photos are awesome
Greetings
I always enjoy the photos of your critters -- The little bunny sure is a cutie as is that tired hummingbird!! :-)
I have a funny picture in my mind of you hanging out your window taking pictures.... But I don't think you need to do that at all. Your photos are always great and you have wonderful critters in your own backyard! Thanks for hosting ... Sorry I'm so late saying so. A very busy day today away from imputed.
I enjoyed the beautiful varieties! I can never get a clear good picture of a bird!
Very nice! I enjoy seeing the varieties.
Happy Sunday

Hi Eileen, All are terribly cute but my favorite is the Cardinal. Have an outstanding coming week.
LOVING your birds and critters. Thank you.
Great shots of being up close and personal with lots of your Bird Friends!!
I love the Great Spangled butterflies...they are so beautiful. Wondeful group of pics.
Beautiful pictures of these birds and animals Eileen. I hope this week to rejoin your party animals :-)
Love the bunny and the Cardinal.
You may think your shots are fuzzy, but I think they are magnificent, Eileen. Your "common" butterflies are beautiful. Love the light in the bunny's ears. I admired the Red-eyed Vireo and marvelled at the sharply-focused Mourning Dove. The Cardinal is brilliant too. Thanks so much for hosting! i hope you are in the middle of a great Tuesday!
Hi Eileen,
the rabbit is fantastic and also all the cute birds. Great photos !
Have a wonderful day !
Best regards, Synnöve
You don't have to go very far to enjoy nature, Eileen. I have never seen a sleeping hummingbird before. Very cool!
Wow!!!! I know that is not a word... but it is my admiration looking to your lovely images, Eileen!
I am in love of that cute little bunny!
Kisses
Ana
