Can you believe, it is March? Winter is slowing going away! YAY!
On our shore getaway we stopped at the Silver Lake in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware to see what kind of ducks were hanging around.

...quite a gathering!
Wonderful photos of the Canvasback Ducks!
Have a great weekend!
I'm still very new to birding, but I have learnt that those ducks who are always on the pond can be quite fascinating. It is lovely to see so many (and of a kind we don't have here, well, I don't think, I'm still a newbie :D ).
Oh, and while you are saying yay to winter leaving, I'm mourning the arrival of autumn :( ::lots of pouting:: I love summer and now I have to wait another six months for it to come back. But we still have autumn, and the weather here is lovely at the moment, so I really can't complain...well, I can, 'cause I'm really good at complaining :D
Loving photos. Thanks so much for sharing and hosting this blog hop :D
Best wishes,
Liz

wow, such a beautiful duck. Don´t think I have ever seen an image of it. I had to look it up in wiki. It seem to be related to a duck,Common pochard,I sometimes, rarely, see during migration.
Very cool looking Duck. Large too
Hope the weather in your neck of the woods doesn't get too severe for you

Good morning Eileen,
Doesn't it feel so wonderful to know that winter is almost over?! Even though we have warnings of a three day snow storm, I feel renewed energy knowing it is already March! I'm even going to start some seeds today for the occasion.
Thank-you for continuing to do this link party. I know I don't join in very often, but I love knowing it's here if I have something I want to share.
Have a great rest of your weekend,
