We love to go and see the Eagles below the Conowingo Dam. We see other birds at the river below the dam but the Eagles are the main attraction. The guy pictured above was just about over my park car, he was eating a big catfish. I was able to zoom in on him.
Bald Eagle sitting on a rock in the river

very cool! nice up close and personal action shots, i like it! i haven't seen a bald eagle in forever, which is ridiculous, cause they should be all over here.
Eileen: What a wonderful treat. I don't get to see many Eagles and enjoy them whenever I do.
I have never seen an eagle (except in photos) so you can post about them as often as you please and I won't be bored...just jealous. LOL
many eagles at one time, that's pretty neat and so lucky of you.
enjoy the week.
Thanks so much for sharing these marvelous eagle photos with those of us who don't get to see them often ... your world is wonderful ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

OMG! I wish I can capture them the way you do! They are so beautiful!
Well over a hundred eagles is just awesome. Love your photos.
Beautiful shots. The close-up shots are very good.
Great photos of the eagles, especially the top one - looks like my aunt. They don't appear to be afraid of people.
Oh wow, beautiful pictures. How wonderful you can see the eagles in nature.
Great photography, Eileen. The first one looks HUGE -see his tail protruding from behind the branch. What a treat for you to view these magnificent birds.
Magnificent and wonderful photos of the eagles! How nice that you get to see them in action!
Great shots Eileen. I like the eagle shots. I find it difficult to capture birds but sometimes am lucky to capture when its early morning.
By the way, thank you for visiting my blog.
Hi Eileen!
Those are beautiful images of the eagles. You captured them wonderfully.
What extreem shots of those eagles - how wonderful that you were abel to be so close to them in their natural surroundings - beautiful just beautiful.
You can take this any you please but these people are not telling the truth. Your pictures are not great, marvellous, fantastic whatever. They are absolutely pathetic. These are good pictures of the Conowingo Eagles.

To Anonymous, I state in my blog that I am an amateur at photography. That is no secret. I do not have an expensive camera and lens like bill majoros. I do not take photos to sell, I only take them for the fun of it. I have a Canon Powershot SX10IS, probably cost me $300 at B&H. If you do not like my pictures you do not have to look at them go over to Mr. Bills website and look at his. Or maybe he will sell you some.
The picture you used in your header is awesome. It must be wonderful to see all those eagles in one place.
Wonderful shots of the river and the eagles! :)
beautiful shots!
We have rainy and snowy days
I would be SO excited to see so many eagles in one place! Heck, I'm excited when I see ONE! These are great photos! Enjoyed them VERY MUCH!
I'm so in awe of all those eagles. Amazing shots!

Hello Eileen,
Wonderful shots today. Your so called "amateurish photography" is a joy to see.
I have a very old digital camera, I don't know what I'm doing when I take pictures, but I hold my breath when I take the shot and hope that what I share will be enjoyed by others. That's exactly what your blog and photos do - brighten my day with something wonderful every time I visit.
:)

Wow, you captured the eagles very well Eileen! Very lovely photos!
Amazing shots of the bald eagles! That's a trail I would love to explore! What beautiful sights along that river!
Funny, I just left a comment on another blog about the eagle's nests at Kennedy Space Center here in Florida and then I came here! I love seeing eagles, but have never come close to seeing so many at once.
btw, I love your photos, most of us are amateurs and none of us seem to mind. Anonymous needs to get a life, or at least a name. lol
Oh, Eileen!!! How fabulous. I love this post so much. Thank you for sharing these eagles with us.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Sweet goodness, it must be so amazing to see all these eagles at once.
I'm impressed!
You always have beautiful pictures to share Eileen, thanks for sharing them to us.
Have a glimpse of Japan at my place.
Wow 100 eagles is sure a whole lot of feather flappers in one area. Great photos and you live in such a pretty area of the USA. Thanks for sharing as I have only viewed eagles in Alaska and that was years ago.
Some have amazing wing span.

What a wonderful photostream. They are such magnificent birds. Thanks for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful Outdoor Wednesday.
Wow! What amazing shots and to be there to see first hand these magnificent creatures. I am so glad you posted again as I had not see these. Thank you! Carol
The face of an eagle! Positively magical and awe-inspiring. Thanks for the wonderfully uplifting photos Eileen and for stopping by to walk with me. -- Jane F
Fantastic photos! My husband and I have visited the Susquehanna River trail a couple of times, but never in winter. It really looks lovely, and the eagles are very exciting. Thanks for the tour!
Eileen you did a marvelous job, I am jealous that you could spend all that time with these wonderful birds.
Nice series. We see eagles here, also, but not large numbers together. I saw one today, actually, it was chasing a raven away. But I was driving, so I couldn't try for a picture.
Thanks for the visit!
Downright beautiful!
I am in love with your new banner photo. How awesome to be that close to the eagles and have the chance to get these great photos.
Beautiful Eileen. I just read your side bar -- can't believe anyone would say that. I would love to be able to take the pictures you do.
