Great pictures of the hummingbird. I haven't photographed even one hummingbird this year.

So rare, so precious to see a hummingbird with its helicopter-wings at rest. Beautiful, peaceful shots.

I love the hummys the best. I have a feeder on my patio window, but it has a plastic storm window over it, so my pics always look cloudy. sigh... If I win the lotto I can buy new windows! & not worry!

A frequent visitor? We get hummingbirds visiting our flowers from time to time and we all rush to the windows to look.

Hello hellooo and thanks for stopping by our blog! I noticed in your profile that you really like Yellowstone- I think you would really enjoy our posts from last summer about working with Moose in the Teton wilderness.

Really enjoy your nature photos and excited to follow you to your next adventure :)

Great photos, Eileen! I always seem to miss the hummingbirds that visit my yard. I know they come because my husband sees them all the time. :)

I just throw my rice, bread, noodles and pasta on the ground to feed my birds, mainly sparrows.

Our Op shops, short for opportunity shops are your Goodwill shops, or the Vincent De Paul or Salvation Army shops. I remember those shops when I was in Canada.

my favorite to watch, hummingbirds, each time they are around, i give up my computer and get out of the house and just be entertained by them, i love them how they are so quick with their wings. beautiful pictures here, so clear.

You captured beautiful images of the hummingbird. I stood for a very long time last weekend waiting for the right moment and was able to get a couple of good shots too. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Eileen, your hummingbird photos are fantastic! What lovely little birds they are. I missed the Nature show on them the other day. Hopefully I will catch a repeat. Such fascinating little birds.
