Outside my window

For my Camera Critters these are some of my backyard birds seen from my dining room window. I like that I can see the birds from my window and not even have to go out in the cold. It has been really cold lately and we a had a little dusting of snow yesterday. My backyard birds seem to enjoy my feeders even more when there is snow on the ground.

What birds are in your yard today?

                             Carolina Chickadee

Tufted Titmouse

Male Cardinal

                                    Bluejay

Below is another common visitor to my deck and bird feeders.

These are some of my backyard birds today.  To see more cute and wonderful critters go and visit Camera Critters
Thanks to Misty Dawn for hosting and thank you for stopping by to see my critters.

  2. Darn squirrels! I love having them in the yard, but I get tired of them outsmarting me and finding new ways to get to the bid feeders!

  3. It's a lot warmer staying inside but it doesn't always work. Good photo. Boom & Gary of The Vermilon River.

  5. Enjoyed the shots, particularly of the squirrel drinking water. Our trails look about the same, brown leaves on the ground, no snow. You got any nuthatches? We have frequent visits from the white-breasted kind, but saw a red-breasted one only once. I am wishing for some snow! Enjoy the holidays, Eileen.

  10. Great birds... my favorite will always be the Blue Jay (I think), I temporarily switch from time to time. I don't get them often but sure wish I did. We had 2 Fox Sparrow's last week which was AWESOME!

  11. Hi Eileen, Great photos of your sweet little birds. I have the same ones --including the squirrels.

It's great that we are out there --and can feed the birds especially during horrible weather.

    Have a great Sunday.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  12. I saw a cardinal at my bird feeder a couple days ago. That makes three different birds. The birds are finding the new feeder slowly, but surely. I like your bird pictures, especially the bluejay and tufted titmouse.

  15. I'm mostly seeing Black-eyed Junco and Flickers right now, they are not nearly as colorful as the beauties in your yard. That little Tufted Titmouse is the cutest little thing.

I love your last photo, where there are bird feeders there will be squirrels.

  17. You have a much bigger variety of birds at your feeders than I do. Right now I have only been seeing the Black-capped Chickadee and Gray Jay with an occasional Hairy Woodpecker. I expect the Redpolls to show up soon and then there will be lots more activity as they come in a large flock.
