For my Skywatch Friday I have some shots of the sky from my backyard and a video including the sky and a bird sound I am not too sure of? I could help with the id on the sound. I know there are some experts out there.
These photos are in order as I took them. I did take shots of the sky looking west and the little pufft clouds were right above my head. I think it was a cool looking sky.

LOL-I'm going to assume that was the Mister opening and closing the door? I have YET to shoot a video where my dear one doesn't talk, belch, start a chainsaw, you name it!
Don't know what the bird was, but the crickets were sure relaxing to listen to!
Have a great weekend, Eileen!
Oh, and the photos were lovely!
A good reminder to look up often at all times to watch for such lovely clouds in the sky. Nice awesome shots!
That's a good idea to take a video of your surroundings! Your skies are very beautiful and peaceful. I am sorry that I cannot tell what kind of bird this is. I am not good at bird sounds, though I like them very much.
Your backyard is really chirpy. I think there are also insects as part of the orchestra. The scattered cloud shot that looks like polka dots is my favourite.
Did you notice 2 grasshoppers in the that Hopper shot? I wonder why they must share their meal when there are lots to munch from.
What an amazing variety of skies. Just lovely!
wow! gorgeous skies! feathers in one. raindrops on water in others. :)
Puffy clouds are always a sight to watch!
I have no idea what bird you were hearing --but I loved seeing your sky photos today. That one pictures with the puffy clouds is great!!!!!
Have a great day, Eileen.
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh my! I really love those little puffs! so unusual!
Always a delight to look up ... the sight is never the same with clouds!
A great looking sky Eileen but I'm not much help with the warbler from over here in the UK.
Lol)..the first poster cracked me up! I second that..
What beautiful drama up in the sky! Lovely header and the first one is so cool! I think the others are cumalous clouds..so pretty-
Wishing you a fantastic weekend Eileen-
Love your little sheep skies !
Happy SWF.

So, how many shots did you really take of this sky?? (if it were me, it would be close to the hundreds, I just wouldn't be able to stop myself!)
I think I love #4 the best.
Such soft, lovely skies and wonderful captures for the day! I enjoyed the video, too! I love the little cotton ball clouds! Everything looks so soft and peaceful! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Eileen!

Beautiful day in Paradise indeed! I always love thoe "broken" looking clouds.
What glorious patterns in your sky today. Did you get a crick in your neck from looking up so much :-)
Fantastic views of the sky, each one different.
I love your sky shots. Some are like tiny cotton balls tossed against the sky.
Lucky you to see such gorgeous skies!
Hi Eileen, Very nice series! I like that puff-ball polkadot sky picture a lot! Have a great day tomorrow!
Beautiful skies.
I am not familiar with bird sounds, but it seems (to me) they are coming from small birds.
You caught some pretty good skies. Nice series of shots!
I love those straight lines blending on the cotton ball-like clouds.
Skywatch at my page. Have a nice weekend.
Love those puffy clouds.
My SWF
The skies are real beautiful. My cat had a suspicious look when I played the video and she heard the birds, lol !
I like photo number 5 too, we had a lot of that kind of cloud last week, is it a cropped and zoomed version of photo's 3 or 4, they look like Cirrocumulus.
The larger 'puffy' cloudlets, Altocumulus, at a lower altitude are shaded on the side away from the Sun, Cirrocumulus being much higher, are not shaded and look more like rice grains.
Lovely photo's, if you are anything like me, you most likely take a lot more photo's than you intended, I get carried away every almost time.
Very nice post.
Regards and best wishes
Hi there - no help on the bird song - sorry, wrong part of the world!
Those puffy little clouds are rather splendid. I don’t think I've seen them like that before.

Wonderful skies, eileen :)
Beautiful sky photos, Eileen. Unfortunately, my connection is not fast enough to watch videos very well -- :(. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment.
Have a great weekend!
I'm no expert but watched your video anyway! Sorry don't know how the bird is called. These little clouds are so pretty, I love when the sky looks like that :)
I like those lumpy little fellows!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Wow, quite diverse skies. Terrific shots!
This kind of sound makes me fall to sleep so relaxing. Thanks for sharing Eileen.

Beautiful skies and gret 'soundtrack'!
Wonderful images....
Beautiful skies! The puffy clouds are so pretty, they remind me a little cuddly lamb.
Eileen, Great skies--you always see something different everytime you look up. Have a terrific weekend. Mickie ;)
Simply beautifully captured shots...lovely!
Beautiful skies! Some of those clouds look like flocks fo white birds.
i love your calm, cottony skies. really looking forward to brighter skies around here.
what lovely skies!
Your skies are gorgeous. It is always interesting to watch the sky change. I love those little puffy clouds.
I have no idea on the bird sound but the closing door (hubby sounds) are common on my videos too.
Just lovely!
