I can not believe how fast the weeks are rolling around. Time for linking up with Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
I wish everyone in the US a very HAPPY 4th of July. And to my Canada friends a very Happy Canada Day!
We have some beautiful plants growing in our yard thanks to my hubby's green thumb. A big part of my world is the birds I love and watching my backyard birds. My mosiacs show both the lovely flowers in my yard and my backyard birds.
In this mosaic I have top left a House Wren at the birdhouse, hibiscus, chipmunk, Mockingbird and more of the hibiscus on my deck.
I love to have a big hisbiscus plant on my deck, hubby planted this one and it seem to be blooming beautifully.
The Hummingbirds are sweet to have around, the male is always zoom zooming around the feeders.
Above are my favorite Purple Coneflowers, Hummingbird at the feeder, one of the many Chipping Sparrows I have in my yard, daylily, coneflower.
I love the Purple Coneflowers, one of my favorite summer plants.
This Mockingbird posed nicely for me on the weeping cherry tree. Now it is time to see what is happening in your world.

Beautiful mosaics! Your flowers and little birds are all pretty and adorable.
Beautiful job on the mosaics, Eileen. And your coneflowers are spectacular. Mine were eaten down by the deer. I couldn't get too mad--she had a fawn with her yesterday. But, why my coneflowers????? Go eat the neighbors trees....teehee!
:)
These are really wonderful, Eileen!
Beautiful shot Eileen, I love those Coneflowers! The hibiscus is stunning. I would really like to have one of those on my patio. As always the little birds are adorable.
Beautiful Eileen! I love all your plants and the shots you got of your bird visitors!!
I have a few coneflowers, though they've not yet bloomed. I'll be eager to see them. The mocking bird is so sweet...does he drive you foolish with his songs?
Very lovely birds and flowers in your backyard.
Beautiful garden! Isn't it fun to see what critter is going to visit?!!! Such a delight!
I'm in awe of your hummingbird photo Eileen. The mockingbird is similar to a robin in build, not sure if we have them here.

I love the Purple Coneflowers. They really add a bang to the garden. And your mockingbird and female Ruby Throat are fantastic. These mosaics are wonderful. You have a great 4th. I just cleaned the house this weekend and am ready for some fun on Tuesday and Wednesday!!! We are supposed to have rain here on the 4th which is "A okay with me":)
My coneflower is blooming like crazy and I just planted it last year. I would plant more this year because I love it too.

Hi Eileen, Beautiful photos of your flowers and of course, your birdies... I too love my backyard birds and my flowers... Life is good--isn't it????
BUT--it would be nicer if it were to get a little cooler!!!!!! Geeesssshhhh.
Hugs,
Betsy

Your flower and birds pictures are beautiful, but what really caught my eye this evening was your header. I can just imagine swimming in that creek on a hot afternoon.
Your mosaics are beautiful. The birds and your garden look terific.
Beautiful pictures / collages you show. Wishing you a good Monday.
Beautiful shots. I've been reading through your posts and see that your Louisiana Waterthrush is similar to our Spotted Palm Thrush. I love your birds and blooms post here too. Thanks for sharing your beautiful world. Hope you have a wonderful week. Happy 4th of July to you too! Blessings, Jo
Lovely photos Eileen!
I am thinking how to get some nice pictures of birds.
The temptation is strong after looking at yours.

I just love the bird pictures. Especially the wren. I wish we had a bit more diversified bird life here where I live. We do get a few special ones out in the woods but can be difficult to spot. Will follow your blog now

Beautiful flowers and birds. Nice garden you have there.
Beautiful flowers Eileen. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
I could walk right into the vivid photograph that is your header right now. And I can well imagine your bird captures enhancing the forest with their sounds.

Your garden flowers are in the pink! Looks as though the birds know where they can get a good meal. Have a Happy 4th!
Great pictures. I really enjoyed seeing them all.
Your garden looks like the a haven for birds and bees. The hummingbird is so different from ours out here on the west coast - don't you just love them when they buzz by as you sit in the garden?
Hibiscis is a lovely flower, one we didn't know really until we moved to Florida. And all your flowers and birds are wonderful. I'm especially amazed at the good hummingbird shots you got!
