I am linking up with Green Day and Camera Critters and I'd-Rather-B-Birdin.
Happy Weekend! This is a big weekend for my hometown of Baltimore and our football team the Ravens. Baltimore is proud of their football team and I wish them good luck in the Superbowl. GO RAVENS!!!!
My post this week is all about the birds just outside my window. I love that I can sit at my computer and look out my window and watch the birds. Here are a few that were here last weekend and during the week.
I leave the bird seed all along my deck railing for the Pine Siskins and American Goldfinches.
The White Breasted Nuthatch is a daily feeder and seen year round.
The Song Sparrow has been another daily visitor lately. He/She seems to be hanging around with some White-throated Sparrows in my yard.
The cute Dark-eyed Junco is one of my winter visitors.
One of my many Goldfinches and an evil-eye Cardinal. She does look a little grumpy to me! I like how this shot shows the size comparison between the Goldie and the Cardinal.
One of my favorites, the Red-Breasted Nuthatch with a clean window.
Excuse the dirty window, up close is the Downy woodpecker and a Carolina Wren sharing the same feeder. Usually, I try to keep my birdie window clean but with the wind, rain and snow lately it is has been difficult.
I hope you enjoyed the views outside my window.

Wishing you a lovely weekend!!
Dimi..
Beautiful capture, these birds are wonderful, great photos.
I enjoy seeing your birds . . . the Song Sparrow was my favorite this morning . . .
Enjoy the weekend cheering on your Ravens . . .
Hi Eileen! I also love to see the birds coming on my feeder. But your visitors show more variety than mine.I have sparrows, crows, blue tits, great tits and coal tits. Your photos are so beautiful, even if they were shot from behind the window!
Looks like your setup is alot like mine Eileen! I also can sit in my easy chair on the computer, and watch the birds right outside my slider window, with a railing just like yours, and suet feeders too. Many of the same birds have visited my feeders in the past, with the exception of the Cardinal, which we don't have here in Washington. Your nuthatch pics are my favorite today.

So many birds visited your place. Just wonderful ! Have a nice weekend, Eileen. Best regards, Synnöve
Great image series showing some beautiful birds. Wish you a good weekend :) Hanne Bente

Your photos through the glass are so clear and beautiful. No need to apologize, I don't see any dirt :-)
That cardinal is giving the evil eye! I can't believe how much bigger she looks compared to the other bird. So neat to see them close like that! Hope you have a great weekend, Eileen :)
Such sweet birds, nice to watch them!
I really like the Junco photo...but of course all the birds outside your window are nature's perfection.
Good weekend vibes to you from me, Anni [at Hootin' Anni's AND I'd Rather B Birdin']
I have the same problem with dirty windows. lol. Nice photos from a warm spot inside!
Lots of visitors! Terrific shots. I have the same problem with my windows, but yours are a lot cleaner than mine!
You just have a great selection of birds at your window Eileen. Don't blame you for looking but I'd not get much blogging done with all that action. Love the Junco. Have a great weekend and week ahead.
loved all of these beauties.
So many wonderful birds at your feeders:) I've done that as well. Trail seed to get better views for some birds. In fact I have to pick up more today:)
They are amazing photos. You do so well.
Cheers from Cottage Country!
Super closeup of the Nuthatch!
I get my bird enjoyment the same way. It's nice to sit and watch them. Even my hubby noticed them yesterday. He didn't used to pay too much attention. :)
Wonderful images Eileen!
You have a great setup there Eileen! Wonderful birds -- and they are sure enjoying the buffet you provide!
We got a couple of inches of snow this morning, so the finches have been crowding our feeders. We've had several others stop by, including one robin. I hope you have a great weekend.
Wow! The female cardinal really DOES have an evil look on her face! :))
I'm with you .. so enjoy watching the birds from my desk. You begin to enjoy their behavior and bickering. So distracting! Have a great weekend Eileen.
lots of birds..you are so lucky to be with them
Fly on green leaf
our views are the same, butt shots, through the glass and deck shots!!
we are 2 lucky girls!!
Hi There, Lots of snow here today (at least lots for us--about 3 inches).... My birds are going crazy at the feeders... I have most of the same birds you do --and even my Junco appeared today (as he does every time it snows)....
Have a great weekend and hope the Ravens win...
Hugs,
Betsy
So many cute birds to see out your window. The cardinal looks huge next to the goldfinch! Wonderful pictures, Eileen!
Lovely bunch of birds, and, don't be sorry, because we all have a dirty windows at this time of year.
They look pretty... clean to me. :)
Beautiful!
Mrs. Cardinal does look a little grumpy. I love the views from your window of all these sweet little birds.
Happy Weekend!
Nice series of photos. Love that Junco shot.
Sporo ślicznych ptaków widzisz przez swoje okno. Patrzenie na nie to miły, chwilowy odpoczynek od komputera. Pozdrawiam.
A lot of beautiful birds you see through your window. Looking at them is a nice, temporary rest from the computer. Yours.
You have many lovely visitors at your feeders!
Eileen. Lovely selection thro' the window. You are seeing far more species than we are getting in the garden here at the moment.
I get Mockingbirds and Blue Jays visit my yard, and you get a whole flock of beautiful birds evade your yard.
Each one is a great capture, Eileen.
Lovely selection of backyard birds Eileen. Thanks for stopping by my Junco post. I didn't realize they were year round birds in the Shenandoahs.
I love all the wonderful photos -- especially the Nuthatch which is one of my favorite birds. They are so fun to watch!
Visiting via Camera Critters
What a live telecast.
Fantastic captures, Eileen, & I love the falling snow in the shots, too. Cardinals are my faves, but the Song Sparrow sure is a beauty! =)
Happy Weekend
I hope tomorrow night goes well for your team! Beautiful wintry photos!
You get some great shots from your window! The Dark-eyed Junco is beautiful and that is an excellent shot of the Nuthatch! Enjoy the game tomorrow:)
Very nice collection of bird shots!
Hi Eileen, Well, I used to live in Sacramento and the local team was your opposition. Oh well. The best team will win (whichever it will be I am pretty neutral). I sure love that picture of the Red-breasted Nuthatch. I have never seen one. I also of course, appreciate that Downy! Have a super Sunday and enjoy the game!
I wish they were visiting my back yard!
wonderful shots! it must be nice to see all those birds outside your window everyday.

You have beautiful bird variety out there.
I too enjoy seeing the birds at my feeders from my window, mine is a kitchen window. I also put seeds along my patio wall for the birds and so that I can see them a bit more closely. We have the same kinds of bird visitors here as you have.
Lovely serie of shots!
I like it!
Pictures always very beautiful.
Lots of different birds.
They come, they know they will find food zwsze.
I cordially greet.
Lucia
You captured many of my favorites here Eileen. I haven't seen our female cardinal this year. She's always rather bashful. :)
So many great shots and all from the comfort of your home. You have such a large variety. Beautiful!
Wonderful birds. Admire your shots, Eileen.
Thanks for dropping by :)

Love your Nuthatch photos! That's one we don't have at our feeders.

What great shots!
Great view! You have a nice variety here. I've been looking for a Carolina Wren, but haven't seen one yet.
the Junco is a nice one.
Beautiful birds, Eileen and such a variety! They do seem glad you are feeding them often!
I love all the close-ups, the Juncos is lovely.
