Outside my window

I am linking up with  Green Day and Camera Critters and I'd-Rather-B-Birdin.

Happy Weekend! This is a big weekend for my hometown of Baltimore and our football team the Ravens. Baltimore is proud of their football team and I wish them good luck in the Superbowl. GO RAVENS!!!!

My post this week is all about the birds just outside my window. I love that I can sit at my computer and look out my window and watch the birds. Here are a few that were here last weekend and during the week.

I leave the bird seed all along my deck railing for the Pine Siskins and American Goldfinches.

The White Breasted Nuthatch is a daily feeder and seen year round.

The Song Sparrow has been another daily visitor lately. He/She seems to be hanging around with some White-throated Sparrows in my yard.

The cute Dark-eyed Junco is one of my winter visitors.

One of my many Goldfinches and an evil-eye Cardinal. She does look a little grumpy to me! I like how this shot shows the size comparison between the Goldie and the Cardinal.

One of my favorites, the Red-Breasted Nuthatch with a clean window.

Excuse the dirty window, up close is the Downy woodpecker and a Carolina Wren sharing the same feeder. Usually, I try to keep my birdie window clean but with the wind, rain and snow lately it is has been difficult.

I hope you enjoyed the views outside my window.

To see more beautiful photos and cute critters please visit: Camera Critters and I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Misty Dawn of Camera Critters and to Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin.

Hi Eileen! I also love to see the birds coming on my feeder. But your visitors show more variety than mine.I have sparrows, crows, blue tits, great tits and coal tits. Your photos are so beautiful, even if they were shot from behind the window!

Looks like your setup is alot like mine Eileen! I also can sit in my easy chair on the computer, and watch the birds right outside my slider window, with a railing just like yours, and suet feeders too. Many of the same birds have visited my feeders in the past, with the exception of the Cardinal, which we don't have here in Washington. Your nuthatch pics are my favorite today.

That cardinal is giving the evil eye! I can't believe how much bigger she looks compared to the other bird. So neat to see them close like that! Hope you have a great weekend, Eileen :)

You just have a great selection of birds at your window Eileen. Don't blame you for looking but I'd not get much blogging done with all that action. Love the Junco. Have a great weekend and week ahead.

I get my bird enjoyment the same way. It's nice to sit and watch them. Even my hubby noticed them yesterday. He didn't used to pay too much attention. :)

We got a couple of inches of snow this morning, so the finches have been crowding our feeders. We've had several others stop by, including one robin. I hope you have a great weekend.

Sporo ślicznych ptaków widzisz przez swoje okno. Patrzenie na nie to miły, chwilowy odpoczynek od komputera. Pozdrawiam.
A lot of beautiful birds you see through your window. Looking at them is a nice, temporary rest from the computer. Yours.

Hi Eileen, Well, I used to live in Sacramento and the local team was your opposition. Oh well. The best team will win (whichever it will be I am pretty neutral). I sure love that picture of the Red-breasted Nuthatch. I have never seen one. I also of course, appreciate that Downy! Have a super Sunday and enjoy the game!

I too enjoy seeing the birds at my feeders from my window, mine is a kitchen window. I also put seeds along my patio wall for the birds and so that I can see them a bit more closely. We have the same kinds of bird visitors here as you have.
