A few regulars

I am linking up with Wild Bird Wednesday and Nature Notes

The rain kept me mostly in the house and I was not able to go birding this weekend. So, I am sharing some of the regulars or the year round birds I saw in my yard this last couple of days.

A couple of House Finches have been having around the yard.

The Cardinals are daily visitors to my yard

Lately I have been seeing a group of House Sparrows at my feeders.

The White-Breasted Nuthatch is also a regular visitor and one of my favorites. I have been seeing some of the winter birds moving in like the Ruby-Crowned Kinglets and yesterday I saw my FOY Dark-eyed Junco.  Thanks for stopping by to see my Wild Birds..

Join in and post your birdies and to see more beautiful and wonderful bird photos please visit:
Stewart's Wild Bird Wednesday and Michelle's  Nature Notes.  Thanks to our host Michelle our host Stewart.  Happy Birding and have a wonderful week!

What one is more beautiful, but for me, number one is cardinal. Yours.

Lovely! I just finally put out some bird food again. I was kind of waiting on the Grackles to migrate out of here. They take over everything.

Very nice! Nuthatches are one of my favorites, too, but we don't see them at the feeders. I keep hoping.

Nice group of birds coming through your yard! I usually have to hunt pretty hard for those birds. Great shots.

So far, I haven't had any House Sparrows here... I'm glad since I have heard that they can be mean... BUT--they are pretty little birds.

Sorry about all of your rain. We haven't had a drop here --and really do need some rain now...BUT--I'm not complaining since our weather has been fabulous...

Hugs,
Betsy

Hubby noticed a junco the other day. I thought that seemed early, until I realized it is mid-October. Our weather has been so warm lately, it doesn't seem like it's that late in the year already. wow-where does the time go!!!
Have a wonderful day, Eileen

Hi Eileen

As you know I have a soft spot for birds - great to see and enjoy your photos, you have some lovely looking birds, although I guess one countries common bird is another countries exotic - we sometimes get parrots and kingfishers!
Have a great week

Are you feeding your birds on deck railing, Eileen? I do--safe from chipmunks and I can see closeup. Have been seeing a few new ones in the yard. Lots of cardinals like your pretties. And I'd love to see one of those sturdy little nuthatches.

Pity about the rain again Eileen. It's just as well you are so active with that camera because you can always dip into the archives - same here sometimes.

You have captured their personalities too! If they could talk or you spoke "bird," they would thank you for your kindness! Always feel refreshed after visiting you!
