I wanted to share more from my Chincoteague Island and wildlife refuge visit. After spending the night we drove up to the beach to watch the sunrise. It was another beautiful morning! A little fog around but it was quickly burnt off once the sun had risen.

Stunning photographs, Eileen! Chincoteague Island looks like a beautiful place to visit. I especially love the willet and egrets in the morning fog photo as well as the egret reflection image. All are glorious, though.

I have had a look at your previous posts (I am so late in bloging!!), I am always quite interested in the birds you see in your part of the world!
The picture with the fog is superb, it has quite an atmosphere of its own! Your sky with the sun at the horizon is gorgeous... although you could straighten it a little!! LOL! The Egrets and their reflexion is also a superb shot!

A lovely sunrise Eileen and from the other pictures I can tell how early you were in getting those bins on. The mist over the egrets and the willets, and then the egret reflections from the bright morning sun are lovely shots. Have a great weekend's birding.
