I am sharing some more of the birds we saw during our outing to John Heinz NWR near Philadelphia. Above an American Robin
A male Wood Duck.
A Common Yellowthroat Warbler.
If you look closely you can find a Marsh Wren above.. They are cuties and fuss a lot. I hope you enjoyed my birds from the wildlife refuge..
Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

Is there anything more stunning than a male Wood Duck?
ReplyDeleteA lovely selection Eileen and you did well to capture the tiny Marsh Wren.
ReplyDeleteI especially like that Wood Duck with its reflection. They (and Painted Buntings) have my vote for our most beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteMarsh wrens are very hard to photograph, at least for me.
ReplyDeleteWood Ducks are one of my favorites! They have such gorgeous colors - both sexes. The little Yellowthroat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Eileen. Thanks for hosting the party today and I'm so pleased to join in.
ReplyDeleteShame the Robin has lost all the summer colour but the Wood Duck and the Yellowthroat sure make up for that.

The marsh wren is living up to its name!
ReplyDeleteI thought I had a great picture of 6 male cardinals, some females and many others at the feeder one day this week! I was going to join you today with the picture but it was too far away. . . looks more like 6 red dots . . .
ReplyDeleteOne day though, I will link up with you!

ReplyDeleteI did enjoy your birds, so many varities. I love the Wood Duck, they are so colorful.
ReplyDeleteI did indeed enjoy your birds, Eileen. It's nice to see that we share Wood Ducks and robins, each in our parts of the world. We don't see yellow-throated warblers.. just the yellow-rumped ones here.. at least as far as I know (not expert). Love the marsh wren. You have such sharp eyes! Many thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, what a collection, cheers Eileen.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the Wrens around here fuss a lot too...LOL! Could that Cardinal in your header get any fatter, Eileen? It looks like it will explode!!!...:)JP

Great Pond shots!!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember what that green miniature plant is called Eileen, that sits on top of the water?? We would scoop it out since it blocks the sun from the lower levels of the pond!! Love the Wood Duck!
Olá Eileen, tão belas essas aves!

Abraços e feliz fim de semana.
