Hello, I can not believe it is February 1st, the time is just going by so quickly. I am sharing a review of the past month of January..It was a fast month, the days just flew by. I have to say I LOVE being retired...I can run out chasing a life bird, My Common Redpoll lifer..We can go on getaways to the shore, then there are the simple pleasures of watching the sunrise, sunset, the various phases of the moon and just taking a walk locally.. And of course just being able to relax and not worry about the snowstorms.. I can just sit back and watch my yardbirds and critters in the snow...
I enjoyed my month of January and I hope you had a great month also.. I am looking forward to seeing what February will bring..Stay tuned..I am sure I will be sharing the pleasures of the new month ahead.. wishing everyone a happy month of February.

I too use picmonkey the royale version for all my shop photos and blog pics too. Love it along with Photoscape which is free too.

Oh, yes, I did enjoy them...very much. I like them all but the favorites are the cardinal and the one above it, and the two sunsets(?) on the right side...love, love, love that bottom one of the two. and I do like that lighthouse a lot, too...shoot, they are all nice. I don't know why I pick out favorites.

Hi Eileen, Really nice mosaic today. So glad you are seeing such lovely birds. By the way, I have found a new spot for seeing Sand Hill Cranes. That place is the Univ. of FL cattle lot in Gainesville on Williston Rd. I was there too late in the afternoon to see much as the birds were flying out to roost when I arrived. Looks promising. Have a splendid Monday!

Wonderful memories of January and I am looking for a fast Feb as I want to get past all the snow....but yes retirement is wonderful as I can ignore the snow....feeling a bit house bound this winter though.
I can only echo your thoughts about being retired and not having to go to work. We should have done it many years ago Eileen. Here's to many happy years of birding, blogging and photography.
The main thing that you are satisfied with the free time in retirement. You could watch the birds and the sky and show us. Regards.

But I'm looking at the beautiful images from these series and it's ok... I'll fix my problems and I'll come back to my passion and to share nature moments captured by camera lens... as soon as possible....
