I enjoyed stopping to watch the Northern Harrier working the marsh land.
Walk this way....pretty hard to do on ice..hard to do for this juvenile Bald Eagle.
The adult eagle to junior...Do as I do.
Eagles in a row.. The far left eagle to the others...what are you doing back there?
Above some Canada Geese, Gulls and Tundra Swans...
Something spooked the Canada Geese and they all took off.. I hope you do not mind all these photos. I think I added a few more than usual.

Dimi...
Wow, you've got to see many birds over there! :)
I think it's funny, that the eagle does not look as majestic standing in the water as he does flying up in the air. Looks kind of plump to me :))
I liked all your many pictures :)
Have a fine week

Fantastic photos of the eagles and the other birds. Have a nice week.
What a wonderful excursion, Eileen. I love the photo of the bald eagles in the bare branched trees - very dramatic. The Canada geese are beautiful, aren't they? Wonder what scared them!
Have a lovely week!
Poppy
Your words fit your photos so well, and I often wonder if animals do talk to each-other, in the same species or different? Super photos, as always.
Que linda observação das águias e adorei o céu! Belas fotos! Muito lindas! bjs, chica
Eagles are magnificent birds. Great collection of photos.
You are the second blog today to mention the webcam. I think I'll have a look at it. What magnificent photos of the eagles and Canadian geese. A nice outing for you!
It looks as if you had a very productive trip to the wildlife refuge, judging from your wonderful photos. The scenery is pretty as well -- a nice bonus.
Love seeing the eagles! I would LOVE to get a good shot of one!
We have only in very recent years have had a resurregence of eagles to our area. Our county is bordered by Wisconsin and Lake Michigan, on two sides. We also have a couple of major rivers and a chain of lakes in our county. It seems the eagles are happy.
It's wonderful Eileen that the Eagle is now on the rebound. At one time- you would never see one!! Wonderful shots today!!!
I know you said on FB you wished you were here in the warmth too and so do I. It would be so much fun to go on a birding hike with you. I'm seeing lots of birds, many ospreys in our area and other predators that I don't know the name of.
I liked viewing all of your photos Eileen, I find them interesting; thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
Wow, this is a really nice series !
Fantastic pictures, Eileen! Wow! You hit the motherlode there!
Beautiful pictures of the eagles!
What a great shot of that eagle.
Oh Eagles....we catch a glimpse of them flying high overhead here as they live across the lake.
I love to see bald eagles flourishing! This looks like a wonderful wildlife refuge, Eileen.
Beautiful series of images of the birds.
Great photos . . .
Bald Eagle . . . YES!
It must be a treat to see those eagles in action! And all the geese in flight-- beautiful!
I love the Bald Eagles. They are such majestic birds. I don't mind the many pictures at all - on the contrary!
Dearest Eileen; Wow, I'm so impressed by the scene in your 4th picture. The flock of Canada Geese are the audience, aren't they! One of the nature scene you saw☆☆☆
And of course, I LOVE the GORGEOUS sun shot♡♡♡

So many fabulous shots of the birds - especially those eagles.
So glad the Eagles are doing well. That juvie walking on the ice is so cute, what a great picture. And another wonderful birding day for you guys! Thanks for sharing.
Any day spent with a Bald Eagle is a great day in my book.
A great post, full of beauty.
xo
Eileen, Thanks for sharing these great bird photos. Sylvia
Great photos of all the birds and that scenic photo if just perfect! I love the lighting you have captured.
Superb captures as always, Eileen! So much beauty and isn't it wonderful to be able to see it/touch it from time to time!! You do indeed have a wonderful world!! Enjoy your new week!!
Those are amazing photos. I like the view of the Blackwater. It looks so serene. The picture of Canada geese and tundra swans are pretty mystical. I'd love them framed. And the geese as they flew off is awesome to look at. I can just imagine how it is like to hear them flying in unison.
Wow, so many eagles to look at you were almost spoilt for choice there Eileen. Blackwater looks a super place to spend lots of time - as long as its not too cold.
Enjoy your week and your birding.
Splendid place, and beautiful photos. Of course I just love the eagles!
Eagles are one of my favorite birds - your captures are ase always beautiful - they are so majestic! Hope to see them once alive (may have in Yosemite, at the North entrance in flight, but not recognized). have a wonderful week!
Thanks for stopping by to comment. We get lots of eagles on our coast as well, and we have a Great Blue Heron that must be nesting nearby. I see him (her?) all through the year. - Margy
magnificent eagles!
The eagles are awesome! So majestic. I haven't seen our nesting pair yet this year. This reminded me to go see them. LOVE the sunburst shot. Wow.
Magnificent photography and gorgeous nature places ~ you go the most wonderful places!
Happy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
Many wonderful birds seen and even their king, eagle. Beautiful birds are places that you show. Regards.
What an amazing series of photos! These eagles are so impressive birds! Gorgeous!
You always get the most amazing captures of the bald eagles!! Love that crowded sky shot!!
That would be such a great way to spend a day. We often see one or two eagles, but sometimes if a deer gets hit on the road, well get five or six of them or more coming to the banquet.
I love that eagle, and the blue skies too!
What great scenes you captured!
Lovely photos of so many birds. Im learning a lot here, as I cannot identify quite a few on my own.
The bald eagle is so regal.
Worth a Thousand Words
Watching birds walk on ice can be very entertaining! Bald eagles are plentiful on our island on the west coast and I never tire of watching them soar so majestically.
Hi Eileen,
Your photos are always perfects.
Amazing!
Have a good week!
I never mind too many photos. I keep mine between 25 and 30, as it just seems so much goes nicely together and many to share, I love that you get so many water birds and the Eagles are wonderful, as are the Harriers. Great post, Happy week~
I always enjoy seeing your great job of photographing nature. Thanks for sharing with us.
Fabulous sightings of the eagles. They're majestic birds. Enjoy your day!
Beautiful eagle.. Congrats for the pictures.. Ciao
Lots of birds but the large bird of prey I find really beautiful to see:-)
Very neat to see all the birds...You captured some fabulous shots. Poor geese! Looks like a few of them are supper!
What luck to observe these beautiful birds ;-)
Céline & Philippe
When the sighting of an eagle is such a rare event in the UK your photos are so amazing by the numbers of birds that you see in one place.
