Beautiful egrets! When I first came to Florida I saw one of those plain juvie moorhens and thought I was seeing some new kind of rail.

The snowy egret is my favorite of all the big birds here in Florida the cranes that herons but all birds. I love to see them ruffle their feathers. You got a beautiful shot of him

The Great Egret is a magnificent bird Eileen and two wonderful photos. I had to look closer at the Common Moorhen as it looks so pale compared to ours, but then I think it's the bright light that you found on that day.

Good Morning Eileen...Sorry I haven't been able to get here sooner, a busy weekend and not much time online yesterday. Lovely photo of the egret in the beautiful surroundings...and the moor hen is a great find as stealthy as they can be sometimes.
