ReplyDeleteThe duck and turtles lounging on the wood really send out peaceful feelings, it's a great picture! I love the Egret, you can see part of his reflection in the foreground of the water. Very nice pictures! Have a wonderful weekend, Eileen!

ReplyDeleteEveryone pays attention to the male Wood Duck, but the female is beautiful in her own right, just a little more subdued.

Those ducks and turtles seem to get along nicely.
ReplyDeleteWe have mallards near our home but i don't recall seeing them fly up high like that. Perhaps I need to watch more carefully.

Hi Eileen, I sure enjoyed the photos. A few days ago I had a group of birds fly over my place ... sort of like your Mallards photo ... but I didn't have my camera ready and they were gone too fast. ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful creatures! I tangled yesterday with a decidedly unlovely creature though. An asp fell out of the oak tree under which I was peacefully sitting and reading. Ouch!!
