Welcome to Saturday's Critters!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
Some more of my yard birds, some winter birds still here as of 4/16/18 and first of the season Eastern Phoebe have arrived.
I am still seeing a lot of White-throated Sparrows around the yard, they have a pretty song.
I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments this past year !
Here is a list of my linky parties;
Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Cute little birds - love their songs. And what a sweet bunny. Hope your weekend is wonderful.ReplyDelete
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Have a nice weekend.
Awww - so adorable!ReplyDelete
I don't know whether the sparrows in your post is the same as the ones visiting my garden. They do look similar and we have lots of them here. Thank you for hosting and have a great and happy weekend!ReplyDelete
Sweet and lovely little friendsReplyDelete
Beautiful! Love bunnies.ReplyDelete
Glad to see your birds and a bunnie. They have cut down a lot of forest around my area so wildlife has vanished too :( Not fun!ReplyDelete
Good morning, Eileen! :)ReplyDelete
You've outlined some beautiful photos. I love the bunny! He is very cute.
I wish you a nice weekend!
Beautiful pictures of the different birds, and the rabbit is so cute.
Best regards, Irma
Hi Eileen - love your little yard birds and your cute bunny. Thanks for hosting.ReplyDelete
Wonderful pictures and great captures of the White Throated Sparrow and the Easter Phoebe!
The little bunny is adorable!! Gorgeous photo!!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Haven't seen any phoebes here for the past few weeks but hope to catch up with them and the sparrows when I get to Illinois this weekend.ReplyDelete
It looks like the winter that seemed to go on forever this year is finally relinquishing it’s grip so I will be looking for Eastern Phoebe any day now. Nice reminder for me. White-throated Sparrows are already arriving but a few overwinter here so it’s hard to know which ones are genuine migrants.ReplyDelete
Que lindas e adorei ver o coelhinho! Um amor!Ótimo fim de semana! bjs, chicaReplyDelete
sweet little peter cotton tail bunny... bunnies are becoming pets for the elderly because they are easy to care for, floppy ear bunnies are so cuteReplyDelete
...brown seems to be theme today!ReplyDelete
I found your post quite charming Eileen . . .ReplyDelete
Especially when you mentioned “sound” . . .
We have had two days of blue sky, bright sun . . .
Springtime perfection . . . cool yet perfect . . .
And being outdoors with the “bird songs” is the best ever . . .
I don’t think I have ever seen the phoebe (at least not to identify it)..it’s a soft and pretty bird. I always like seeing rabbits. Thanks for hosting this fun sharing party.ReplyDelete
Fantásticas estas fotografias, gostei bastante.ReplyDelete
Um abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Oh! it's Peter Cottontail!! What lovely post! Have a wonderful day!ReplyDelete
I love that sweet bird with the bit of yellow at the top. And oh, a bunny!ReplyDelete
I've only seen two bunnies this year -- they're late too!

i have so many bunnies in my yard right now, big bunnies, i am sure to see some little ones soon!! if you are not familiar with how they nest, google it, it is interesting!!!
Eastern Phoebes are just the cutest little birds. The more I see them, the more I like them! Have a great weekend!ReplyDelete
Squeeee, who can't grin at the bunny?! Happy weekend. YAM xx
Hi Eileen, I love all LBJ's sparrows, warblers etc. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for hosting this meme. I love joining in and have again today. Have a wonderful day. JoReplyDelete
We have eastern phoebes nesting in our shed. They don't seem to be afraid. They often pose on our fence and let me take pictures as long as I don't move too much. I would love to have a White-throated sparrow pic to add to my sparrow collection. I like that little splash of yellow. We have a bunny family living in a brush pile not far from the house. They come up to the yard in the night to eat food that fell out of the feeders. Gus likes to chases them away. I don't think he could ever catch one, but it is fun watching him speed after them. Have a wonderful Saturday.ReplyDelete
Yay for bunny babies!!!!ReplyDelete
Wonderful shots, Eileen! I like the rabbit!ReplyDelete
Have a great new week.
It like the changing of the guard. Love the song of the white throat. Here in CO have seen very little so far still snowing!ReplyDelete
oh...to have baby bunnies! Sweet!!ReplyDelete
PS: Thanks for hosting, Eileen!ReplyDelete

I haven't seen these two birds before, but they're cute.ReplyDelete
Thanks for hosting, as always! Have a great weekend!
What a cute bunny!ReplyDelete
Hi Eileen. I remember that White-throated Sparrows were the most numerous migrant I saw in Canada in late April. I guess that you're getting those migrants now.ReplyDelete
I hope You have a lovely weekend, and thanks for today's link-up.
Lovely capture on birds and the bunny! The sparrow almost resembles our house sparrow. Your capture on Eastern Phoebe is poetic on the second image.ReplyDelete
Beautiful captures. The bunny is so tender...ReplyDelete
Have a nice weekend!
What a sweet little bunny, Eileen! I enjoy watching they Eastern Phoebes we have here. Such neat birds. Have a wonder-filled week!ReplyDelete
Maybe you will get many bunnies around in the yard. They are very cute, but not in the garden.

Divagar Sobre Tudo um Pouco
Very nice ! I love the bunny !ReplyDelete
I didn't expect to see that splash of yellow on any sparrow, quite fetching. I haven't seen the cranes, just heard them, I'm sure they're finding food in the neighborhood but am worried a bit out the robins although everything is just about melted and hopefully the ground is softening.ReplyDelete
I love to sit and watch the small birds in our garden they are so quick as they dart around.ReplyDelete
what always blows me away when I come here is you identifying the different sparrows because to me they have always looked the same :)ReplyDelete
Well I have my PARENT sparrows busy building a new nest under an awning on the side of the house and then their babies will be the NOISY sparrows later on :)
I do like your first photograph of the white-throated sparrow, I can almost hear him singing!ReplyDelete
Such a cute looking bunny.
Enjoy your weekend and have a fabulous new week ahead.
All the best Jan
Love that Eastern Phoebe, and that bunny! Hope you are having a wonderful spring. I am back finally after a working break, then being sick and having to make a three day (with travel) trip to Portland. Be back with Critters next week!ReplyDelete
Awww....cute bunny! Yes, the songbirds are back at our house too, and I love to hear them in the morning.ReplyDelete
Great shots, Eileen. Oh I love bunnies!!!!!!! Kisses, my friend.ReplyDelete

Eileen - be careful what you wish for with the bunnies ... thanks for hosting!ReplyDelete
I don't think we have phoebes in our yard. We do have plenty of bunnies.ReplyDelete
Lovely pictures! Happy sunday!ReplyDelete
I'm sending my thanks to you for sharing your blog photos with us bird lovers this weekend. It's our privilege to visit you from I'd Rather B Birdin'!!ReplyDelete
I love to watch sparrows. I don't know what it is about them, but the way they move about on the ground is intriguing to me.ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing your yard birds and hosting your Saturday's Critters.ReplyDelete
Hi Eileen, I sure enjoyed these photos. That bunny is especially cute! Thank you, as always, for sharing and for hosting Saturday's Critters. Best place for critter photos on the web! Take good care and have a happy week ahead! JohnReplyDelete
I hope you had a Happy Earth Day ...ReplyDelete
I appreciated your words on your post above "take care of our earth. It is the only one we have."
All the best Jan
I was happy to see rabbits in my garden again recently. The foxes had almost eliminated them all! Habe a wonderful week, Eileen. Happy Earth Day!ReplyDelete
The bunny is so so cute! When we were in Holland this weekend we passed a parcel of land that was dedicated as a bunny sanctuary. It was fun to see so many bunnies in one place.ReplyDelete
Lovely Eileen photos.ReplyDelete
And this goes for the earth, which can not be commented.
We have an obligation to take care of it, it is the inheritance that we receive and that we will leave to our children.
Good tuesday Eileen.
Hello Eileen, your quotes are perfect and each critter scene after the other such a wonderful view, and gives me hope that I'll be seeing some of that around here too, soon. It's getting better, although still some snow remains and the ice isn't out of our lakes yet.ReplyDelete
Dearest Eileen; First of all, so sorry for my belated comment.ReplyDelete
We can see many sparrows especially in the rice paddy, but not so handsome like White-throated one p;-) TI thought your Eastern Phoebe look a bit like our Pale Thrush. I always admire rich nature in your area ｖ(^_^)ｖ
Thank you SO much for hosting wonderful link and always appreciate your sweet comments♪
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*
Sweet birds and a cute bunny, too. The wild bunnies around here are increasing in number...no surprise. :) Hope this week is going well for you.ReplyDelete
Eileen, I have come to adore Eastern Phoebes, although I will always remember the one that attacked me!!! I wonder if I'll have lots of bunnies this year like that cutie?...:)JPReplyDelete
