I have been enjoying the birds right outside my window, the spring birds are arriving and the winter birds are still here as I type this post. These may not be the clearest photos, they were all taken from my closed dining room window.

Hello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteI realise I am a very poor blogger but I spent most of my time taking photos and I will be off again to Africa in 2 weeks time!!
You really have gorgeous birds in your garden and they must appreciate your caring for them :)
Enjoy your weekend and keep well!
love the variety of birds in your garden.
ReplyDeleteThe miration has started now but there are still much ice on the lakes.
Good, it keeps me busy :)
Hello Eileen. Your bird feeders are obviously doing a very valuable bit of work there. Helping to keep winter birds alive and feeding up those little warblers. Enjoy your weekend and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteReally nice to enjoy of these beautiful birds.. Well-done and Happy weekend my friend..
ReplyDeleteTão lindas!Parecem aqui ao meu lado estar! Perfeitas! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteThat yellow-shafted Northern Flicker is so beautiful! I would love to see that too.

Thanks for this meme again. Unfortunately, I have no critters in my latest blog, so I can't link up this time. But you're welcome to see my northern lights experience.
Have a great weekend!
Hello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteyour up close with birds photos are amazing. It must be a pleasure seeing them feasting on the food in your yard. Great photos, thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend.
Great bird photos! I really like the eight photos all together like that

Gorgeous photos! Downy Woodpeckers frequently visit our feeders. -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteAmazing close up shots of these beauties! :)
ReplyDeletewe are so lucky to have such wonderful views, right outside our windows!! the flickers are beautiful, although i see them, i find them difficult to photograph. i always open the window...and let all the heat out and chuck never says a word!! by this time of year, my windows are filthy!!!
ReplyDeletei always enjoy seeing pops of yellow at the feeders. it is probably my favorite color to see there!!
You certainly have a colorful variety of birds today. I'm always partial to the flickers. They look so elegant. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe've been seeing a lot of birds migrating this week so watch out for more to come. Yours get along better at the feeders than ours! lol Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThe Flicker is beautiful! Don't see them at the feeders here. Nor the warblers. We are getting more snow this morning, though, so the robins are eating suet. LOL
ReplyDeleteDearest Eileen; I always am fascinated with your gorgeous birds gathering to your yard ♫♫♫
ReplyDeleteWhat colorful birdies and I had no idea that you take pictures with the windows closed as well :-)
Thank you SO much for your sweet visits, sorry for my absence lately and hoping easier week ahead (♡˘◡˘♡)
Love, Miyako*
The pine warblers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hopeful to see your diversity, I know spring is coming!
ReplyDeleteI think they are beautiful; such a variety of birds! Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me join in your link-up. I, too, shared fotos of birdies and a silly squirrel yesterday. I'd be honored if you'd join in our Friday Foto Friends link-up. HOPE you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou get such a variety at your place, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteWhat beauties these are, Eileen!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the new week!
Hello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful series of birds you have been able to photograph.
The collage is really great.
Best regards, Irma
Thank You, E
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty Eileen!
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen, I love the first image with the woodpecker's tail tucked in while it eats. And the second one with the pine warbler flitting up to the feeder. Thanks for hosting this meme. Have a great weekend. Jo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, as always, Eileen!!!!!!!!!!! Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeletei have never seen a wild bird of any kind that was yellow or had yellow like that beautiful shaft of yellow. only parakeets in cages. so beautiful
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Eileen.
The flicker is a very elegant bird . I like to watch them when they visit my place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely array of our fine feathered friends. I remember the first Northern Flicker I saw in my yard and thought "what a colorful Mourning Dove". I know better now. They do look like they are related though, in my opinion. Distant cousins maybe. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a variety of birds.... and your photos are so clear and finely detailed...my next step is to purchase a better camera... But I loved the flicker the beat I believe... Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of the various beautiful birds ~ love the little yellow one ~ (pine warbler)

Hello Eileen!:) Visions of loveliness, all of them. I just love the Yellow-shafted Flicker, and the pretty yellow warblers. Your collage is beautiful.:) Thank you so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteLove the pine warblers!!! You have probably seen my comments on other blogs that we had to take down our bird feeders this week ... bears are coming out of their dens and everyone is trying to avoid habituating them to back yards as food sources!!! Thanks for hosting and have a super weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have only seen Flickers in the wild lately. Great shots of all the birds! I see the same ones here... love it! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful images of gardening, stay well Eileen.
ReplyDeleteYou are making my feeder envy worse. We cannot have a feeder here because of the pesky ducks, pigeons and parakeets which can spill all the seed in minutes (and invite the rodents to partake).
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty birds - that Northern Flicker is my favorite of this group. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteEileen, nice array of birds. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty bird company!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, Sure enjoyed all the bird photos! My favorites are the Pine Warblers. The Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker is pretty amazing too. Thanks for sharing and hosting Saturday’s Critters! Have a happy week ahead! John
ReplyDeleteAll the sweet little chipping birds..
ReplyDeleteIt's always so lovely to see your selection of birds.
ReplyDeleteThe colourings of each of them is simply wonderful.
Have a good weekend.
All the best Jan
A handsome lot indeed . . .
ReplyDeleteLots of beautiful birds for us to enjoy today. : )
ReplyDeleteOwww, i love these birds ! Very nice !
ReplyDeleteHI Eileen, I am finally back on the grid after 19 days of camping across the country...good to be in one place for a while! Love the collage of all your great feeder birds! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteNice pics of the flicker!
ReplyDeleteHello from Wisconsin, USA :)
ReplyDeleteHello, Beautiful Bird pics.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend
What fun at your feeders! The Warbler is something we don't have in my corner of VA. But I was told this week to get my hummingbird feeder back up - It just doesn't feel like time yet -- But I'm still waiting for the return of my favorite bird, the Eastern Phoebe who is late returning.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your birds! I am now down to only stocking my feeders with black thistle seed and red pepper suet in hopes that Mr. Bear doesn't like those flavors. I know the squirrels don't! But as soon as my current supply is gone, I am done with feeding until the bears go away for the winter. Sad but bears are a nuisance here.
ReplyDeleteAmazing beauties today, once again!
ReplyDeleteLoved each and every photo Eileen and thank you for the nice welcome back.
ReplyDeleteGreat birds visiting you! Happy new week!
ReplyDelete... and a massive round of applause for the Carolina Wren! Yay!
