Snowy Egret

I am guessing this is a Yellowlegs, not sure though.
Osprey, one of many seen around the Chesapeake Bay.
The Osprey was perched on this tower.
Double-crested Cormorants.
I am again guessing, this is a Snowy Egret.

Great selction of birds Eileen, Nt facourite should is the first one but the Osprey is an amazing shot for so far away from ur lens. Thanksofr hosting and have a wonderful weekend I am away for the boat to Scotland now.

The Snowy Egret is very pretty, but also the Osprey.
I have seen it flying, in Finland, but not photographed yet.

I am so happy to see you report on lots of Ospreys, Eileen. It’s not so many years ago that the future looked very bleak for these birds and the way that they have recovered is a cause for celebration for all of us.

The first Egret shot has a lovely pink cast makes it seem even more dreamy. I love to find wading birds and shore birds they don't try to hide up in the canopy!

Oh I do love those beautiful birds!! We have barn swallows nesting on our porch. It makes quite a mess but those babies are just so darn cute!!
Good Morning Eileen. It's quite amazing how the Barn Swllow is everywhere in the world, North, South, East and West. It's a very successful bird. You did fine getting that Osprey picture from down in the ground. It's a long way up there.

i love the fluffy hair on the egret, it's so pretty with the light shining on it!!
i also enjoy seeing the barn swallow, i rarely see them and i think they are so pretty. i enjoy watching them fly around like tiny fighter jets!!
