Welcome to Saturday's Critters!
If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
These are some birds and images from my visit to North Beach, Maryland.
Snowy Egret
Barn Swallow
I am guessing this is a Yellowlegs, not sure though.
Osprey, one of many seen around the Chesapeake Bay.
The Osprey was perched on this tower.
Double-crested Cormorants.
I am again guessing, this is a Snowy Egret.
I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !
Here is a list of my linky parties;
Also visit: I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see you report on lots of Ospreys, Eileen. It’s not so many years ago that the future looked very bleak for these birds and the way that they have recovered is a cause for celebration for all of us.
ReplyDeleteYour osprey photo is very crisp. 'Lovely shots! Thank you for hosting this fun party. -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I love your series of birds especially the egret in the first photo. Strange to think that that barn swallow may have been seen here in Durban, southern tip of Africa in March. Thanks for hosting this meme. I've joined with my humble contribution. Have a great Saturday. Jo
ReplyDeleteThose egrets are amazing. One cannot overlook the smaller critters, though!
ReplyDeleteAren't they just magnificent? I wonder if anyone looks at us like this. (God says: I do! :-D...)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the egret, osprey, and swallow!
ReplyDeleteThe first Egret shot has a lovely pink cast makes it seem even more dreamy. I love to find wading birds and shore birds they don't try to hide up in the canopy!

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Eileen. It's quite amazing how the Barn Swllow is everywhere in the world, North, South, East and West. It's a very successful bird. You did fine getting that Osprey picture from down in the ground. It's a long way up there.
