Saturday's Critters #265

Welcome to Saturday's Critters !

I  will catch up with my visits and comments ASAP.  I may be away from the computer, so please bear with me. I will visit everyone who links up and all who comment.

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

Some of my yard birds, they are a simple pleasure to watch. Like the Blue Jay below.

The Northern Cardinal is a lovely bird.

Flying away is the Red-breasted Nuthatch and the other are the Pine Siskins.

Arriving a Pine Siskin.

Some days I saw 5-6 or maybe more Pine Siskins coming and going to my feeders.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments !

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Okay, I DO have a resolution for the year ... not to be envious of Eileen's yardbirds!!! My gulls are racing each other on the seawind today and I am enjoying that sight. No colour, but fun. YAM xx

I hope you are enjoying your break. I have just filled up my bird feeder - the seeds are going down mighty fast this time of year even though it's not that cold. Happy 2019 to you!

I love the take-off and landing shots! The bluejay is a handsome critter. They don't come to my feeder and like to hide from me in the trees when I see one. Happy Saturday!

Those Pine Siskins look like sparrows to me. (I don't know-- you do.) But now I'm wondering if I have Pine Siskins or if I just have the sparrows I thought I did!

Great friends in your yard! We don't get the siskins till a deep freeze sends them down...love to watch them wrestle for the best feeding spots. Enjoy your weekend.

The Jay, Cardinal, Doves, Juncoes, Pine Siskin, Chicadee, Finch
have been eating here in droves . ...
Still no snow, very cold . . . and whenever the temperature fluctuates either way
it brings our “friends” in to fight for a spot at the feeders.
We love to keep them in food and enjoy watching!
It has been a happy beginning to the New Year . . .

Beautiful series of birds.. I still don't know the difference between a French of a pine siskin. I think I am looking at pine siskins and thinking they are finches.. Thanks for commenting on my blog today. I am having a problem getting my comments to go to my email all of a sudden...don't know what I did..I have to figure out what happened..Enjoy your day...

I love viewing your photos, Eileen.I'm a little worried by the birds not seen at my feeders so far this winter. Missing are pine siskins, juncos, finches, any of the grosbeaks. I wonder if all the squirrels are scaring them away. Sigh
