Happy Thankful Thursday!
The Purple Coneflowers are looking pretty, the flowers around my yard make me happy. 🙂
It's the little things in life, notice them! 💓
" Kindness is simple. It is seeing the good in everyone and celebrating it."
Is this a Pine Warbler or maybe a juvenile Northern Parula. I saw this bird in a tree/vine at the end of our driveway. Another day I saw a Black & White Warbler on my deck, that was an unusual sighting.
Our Upright Fuchsia has so many blooms, looks beautiful.
I am thankful for the flowers, they can can expel clean oxygen.
Outside my dining room I can see the Ruby-throated Hummingbird at our flowers.
I am thankful that my hubby has a green thumb!
The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is a common sight in our yard, seen mostly on the butterfly bushes.
I am thankful to see the birds and butterflies in my yard!
For my Skywatch photo, I am sharing this shot of the moon on July 14th. Some times when I can not sleep I have gone out on my deck when the moon is really bright, I took a few photos.
We have a local family style restaurant near our home, this is the view from the window at our table. They serve one of the best Maryland Crab Cakes, YUM! There is a pretty view of the sky, pond and farm land.
I am thankful for a good book, I am getting into Harlen Coben's suspense/thrillers. Another recent book was Spilled Milk by K.L. Randis it is a compelling true story. I am waiting for my online library to get the latest Louise Penny book called A Better Man.
I am thankful for all your visits and comments.
Thank you Michelle for hosting Thankful Thursday.
Thank you to Yogi the host of Skywatch Friday

On Aug 3rd, I went to a wedding shower for my future DIL Allie. We had a fun time and I am looking forward to the wedding in October. I am thankful my son has found the love of his life.

I am afraid I have not inherited this quality.

Hello,
Beautiful flowers, and so nice that your hybby has a green thumb!
You have many things to be grateful about :)
Happy Thursday!
I wish your son all the very best and I really hope that he has found the love of his life. I just can't help but think that of all the weddings i have ever been to more of the couple are no longer together than still are. I hope this couple beats those odds.
Lindas fotos e agora é pensar no casamento em outubro. Coisa boa! Que sejam felizes! bjs, chica
I love the quote, so true☺
...lots of great things to be thankful for! Enjoy your day.
Great collection today. May your son and his lady have many happy years together. It's fun to plan a wedding. I broke down and purchased the latest Louise Penny book...figuring since I'll probably read it again it's a good investment. I've read all the others from digital library though...some of them several times! Love her characters!
Beautiful pictures. Your coneflowers are gorgeous (ours are already fading and looking brown). Congrats to your son and future DIL on their upcoming wedding.
One of the important four-letter words...Kind
You have a lot of celebrations to come this fall, Eileen. I have just started to read the Louse Penny books - love them!
What a wonderful series of photos! I love to eat in restaurants with a good view, and that view is beautiful!
Best wishes for much happiness for the soon-to-be bride and groom!
I have coneflowers that wonderful color - so pretty - but mine have already bloomed and are beginning to fade.
Have a blessed day!
You pick some good things to be thankful for. Many people would miss these things.
I've never seen an upright fuchsia, love it. You have a great variety of birds, nice photos, too.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Felicidades para tu hijo Eileen. Les deseo mucha felicidad
Nos sentimos bien cuando vemos a los hijos felices.
Me encanta el reportaje.
Te deseo un buen jueves.
Un abtrazo para Todos
how inappropriate during this joy filled time in their lives!!
Oh my...I actually have an opinion about the bird ID. We have a lot of Pine Warblers here and I've never seen one with that much color. I think it's a Parula! Love all the photos! And congrats to your handsome son and this beautiful young lady! They make a beautiful couple!
Lovely variety in this post. I especially love the coneflowers.
A wonderful mish-mash. Congrats to your son and his future bride. I love your moon shot, it's a great one, mine don't come out very well. Do you use a tripod?
Have a wonderful day!
Oh sometimes I hope I live in another country with beautiful flowers like those! Thank you for taking us there Eileen.
In yes! Thanks E🌠
No, I do not own a tripod. My camera does have the image stabilization. Thanks!
Your shot of the moon is my favourite of the set.

So nice of you to show many nice photos! I like them a lot. The first flower, pink and red.... I find some of them downtown my city in a park. I also took some photos, but I haven't put them up yet.

I like cone flowers too!
Great shot of the butterfly and I always love your moon shots.
Congratulations to your soon and future DIL. How exciting to have a wedding to look forward too.
Congrats on gaining a DIL! And, thanks for linking up today!
HI Eileen, your flowers are really eye candy, so lovely! I think you got an Immature Northern Parula in your shot the white at the bottom of the eye really seals the deal for me, and the chartreuse green mixed with yellow.
A great sighting! Best wishes to your son on his upcoming wedding. IT's very hot here this week hope it's cooler up there where you are.
Fabulous shots! And what you say about kindness is so true - we really ought to celebrate it more!
You have beautiful flowers in your garden! And congratulations to your son & his fiancée <3 Weddings are great, so you have fun to look forward to!

So pretty in your yard, Eileen! And, congratulations to your son and future (soon to be) DIL; how wonderful for all of you! :)

Perfect moon shot
Pretty flowers! I don't know what happened to our hummers...this year I only had one for a couple of weeks and then no more. I'm wondering if my purple martins are running them off.
I've always thought coneflowers make great photos. Wonderful detail in your moon shot. Sorry you couldn't sleep, but may be worth it to capture this wonderful photo!? Enjoy your weekend.
I just love coneflowers. And they photograph so well. You took that moon shot without a tripod? You must have the hands of a surgeon, wonderful. You have to tell me more about that shot.
Congratulations to the new addition to your family. I love your flowers.
My Black and White Weekend
Is that a fire bush? Loved seeing the pine warbler (I posted one a few weeks ago & wasn't sure.
I have seen Spilled Milk before...might check the library for it.
I am nuts...I meant to say that I love that first little bird! It is so pretty. And love your flowers.
Great clouds in your photo and love that little yellow bird ~ All great photos!
