Happy Thankful Thursday!

 Happy Thankful Thursday!

May the Christmas season fill your home with joy, your heart with love and your life with laughter.  I really wish you joy, love and laughter all year round! Merry Christmas!  🎄☃️

A cute Carolina Wren on my deck railing.

A Dark-eyed Junco, stopped long enough for a quick photo.

❄️ Dec 11th was had our first snow, that covered our deck.  The driveway and roads were ok.  I expected to see more birds on my feeders and deck this day, usually when it snows I see a lot of birds at my feeders.  Again my bird count was down.  ❄️

The full moon on the morning of Dec 12th, a close view!

A closer view and zooming in.

The closest view of  December's full moon.

I am taking a break after this post and will only be posting my Saturday's Critter linky party from this Saturday till the first Saturday in January!

Thank you for participating with my critter party!

  29. I so love that wren...great moon shots. My sister-in-law told me to go look at it...or I would not have seen it. I even got a couple pics of it.

  30. Cute birdies!

"Someone" was at my feeder. I can tell by peck marks in the bark butter. However, they must be in the bird witness protection program as they are VERY sneaky.

  31. Great shots! Our Bewick's Wren looks very similar to the Carolina wren. I hope you have a lovely Christmas season as well.

  35. beautiful birds. I know they are going to appreciate your bird feeders when the snow sets in. It reminds me of a book I had as a child about a red robin at Christmas time - it was one of my favourites.
Have a great weekend ahead Eileen and thank you for visiting my blog this week

  36. Fantastic moon shots Eileen. I was at the grocery store today and two women in a row forgot a bag of their groceries as they left the store. The woman behind me in the line up said, it's a full moon which reminded me of the event. Next I paid for my groceries and the cashier left my bag in front of her as she started ringing in the next person's order. I had to ask for my bag. LOL. it was funny as she had just finished chasing two other women out the door to make sure they got their groceries. As for me, I found I was more forgetful but I chalked it up to getting very little sleep last night. I hope after tonight your birds will be back at your patio. Enjoy the weekend. xx

  42. That wren, adorable! I'm sure you need the break and you're still doing the Saturday linky so not much in the way of taking off. So you guys didn't get the storm that was out east? It snowed at Halloween and nothing since. It sure is cold though, what a time for my fireplace to go out (I think a mouse chewed through the wires but I try not to think about it).
