Saturday's Critters # 347

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Happy Saturday! Have a great weekend!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I have a few yard birds to share today, I've been seeing the Brown Thrasher going to the blueberries, the American Goldfinches like the sunflower seed feeders and an Eastern Wood-Pewee catching bugs in the yard.

The Brown Thrasher on top the swing..Some blueberries survived the tree fall on top our our bushes.  I've been watching the birds going into the blueberry bushes.

The American Goldfinches seem to come and go, I do not see them every day. This one is perched on a nearby butterfly bush.

Goldfinch and the Wood Pewee.

I've been hearing the Eastern Wood Pewee calling around my yard, this day I saw him/her sitting on the swing set.

It may be a juvenile Pewee.

Thanks for all the links and to all my visitors. I appreciate everyone leaving a comment. Stop back for any replies to your comments.

  19. Hello Eileen. It's good that your thrasher cleans up the fallen blueberries so that they don't go to waste. I hope it doesn't eat your breakfast portions though. Love the bright yellow of your goldfinch. Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for the linky today.

  42. The swing set makes a great perch ....so wonderful that you have such a nice variety of birds in your own backyard. I’ve only seen brown thrashers once , their eyes are so interesting and it’s interesting that they like your leftover blueberries. The birds at our daughters don’t seem to pay much attention to theirs oddly. .... you asked (over on mine) about the “bee waterer” .... It’s just plain water out of the garden hose as it was meant to be a bird bath for the perching birds, not for hummingbirds, they have a another feeder for them. . ... thank you so much for hosting and I really appreciate the effort and time involved in it and all your help and comments.
