Around the Yard_March 5

Linking up with Skywatch Friday  and Good Fences

Hello, the week's seem to fly by whether I am doing anything or not..Time for sharing some Skywatch photos for Skywatch Friday and some fence scenes for Tex's Good Fences memes.

Also, I have not been anywhere because of the weather so my shots are all from around the yard..And of course I always share some of my yard birds..

Some pretty wispy clouds above our frozen lake... one of hubby's photos..

A pretty White-throated Sparrow

A Dark-eyed Junco with a Song Sparrow on my deck railing. LOL, I am again reaching far for a fence scene above..

A sunset capture from my backyard..I love these colors and the tree silhouettes.

Another capture of the moon taken on Feb 26..

A distant fallen down fence way behind the Blue Jays.

My last shot of the Common Grackles taken over my deck railing, also you can see my chain link fence under the railing for another fence shot..
I hope you enjoyed my photos and post. I hope everyone stays warm and safe on these brutal cold days..

Thanks for stopping by and for the nice comments..

To see more pretty skies from around the world please visit  Skywatch Friday
and check for more fence shots at Tex's Good Fences

Thanks to Theresa @ The Run*A*Round Ranch for hosting Good Fences and thanks to Sylvia, Yogi  and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.    I wish everyone a happy day and weekend ahead..

Hi Eileen, Really neat photos here. I love the effect of the clouds in that 4th picture. And you are so right about time flying by. Neat post! Have a good day. John

I always love your bird photos. The Blue Jays are neat and I do like the Common Grackles. Here they are usually in the parking lots and seldom come into backyards - at least not in mine.
Have a lovely day!

Well, you do not have to go and look for birds, because they are coming to you. There are certainly joy in these cold winter days. Regards.

You have wonderful skies and happy healthy birds! Recipe for happiness, although a little more sunshine and a little less cold would be even better!

I still always wonder how I had time to work! No problem finding things to do in retirement is there?

Lovely shots, eileen!

I tried using my brother-in-law's Rebel T2i to take a moon shot earlier in the week. It came out better than my G15 was getting, but still had the same problem: not enough zoom.
