The owls are my post for Mosaic Monday to see more wonderul mosaics go and

Thanks to Mary for hosting the fun meme called Mosaic Monday.
These are owls I have seen during birding trips and some seen while on my fireroad walks near my house. One Barred owl was seen in Washington State and looks a lot different than the Barred owls I see here in my woods. During one of my early morning fireroad walks I came across two owlets begging for food from the adult Barred owl. I could hear two owlets but I could only see one of them sitting in a tree. The other owlet must have been on the ground. I think the owlets are just adorable. The Screech owl was actually being held by a ranger in Shenandoah, the rest were all free and wild and OH so cool looking. I love owls and I thought it would be fun to make mosaic with my owl photos.
In this mosaic, I have the Barred owlet, Long eared owl, adult Barred owl, Snowy Owl center, botton row is Barred owl, Screech Owl, Snowy Owl and the Washington State Barred owl.
I hope you enjoy my owls and mosiac, thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful mosaics! You have a nice assortment of owl photos.
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER taken a photo of an owl so I am amazed!
ReplyDeleteTHese are very neat. You have captured some great images of the owls.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
I love owls!! I have never seen that many wonderful photos of them ! We have owls here in the woods next to our house, but I have yet to capture any of them on a photo! Great post, and your mosaics were lovely!
ReplyDeletewonderful mosaics - owls we have to take when they come along - not the sort of bird we can usually go out and see just because we want to - love the snowy - where did you see him?
ReplyDeleteI love your owls. I have never seen too many. I have seen a Burrowing Owl in Eastern Washington. Actually a whole family of them.. But that is all.
ReplyDeleteGreat collages.

The Eagles are easy to photograph and you can get quite close because they are not afraid. MB
There's just something about owls that fascinates me. Some really nice pics here. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen
ReplyDeleteVery rarely see owls here and the one time I did in broad daylight - didn't have a camera with me!
I really enjoyed your mosaics, they are such mysterious birds.
Eileen: Just beautiful, I haven;t seen them in the wild for a long time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaics. I've only ever seen owls flying at night, other than in bird sanctuaries of course, and heard them calling at twilight.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty!

Those are great owl photos !!
ReplyDeleteI like the owls!! : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful owls and I love the mosaics that you did! I have never done that before so it encourages me to try something like that sometime.
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous shots of the owls. We don't see them much where I am so this is a treat.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Thanks for the photos.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed by all of your owl photos! I hear Great Horned owls and screech owls at night, but I can't see them.
ReplyDeleteWe often hear a great horned owl in the neighborhood...but it looks like you have made friends with them all. Owls have a mistique to them and are bold but quiet explorers of Nature. Nice Collages Eileen. It was fun looking into your world.
ReplyDeleteThe Washington state Barred Owl is gorgeous -- although I think all Barred Owls are gorgeous. Barred Owls live on our farm and often hear they calling and occasionally get a good look at one.
ReplyDeleteI love owl and very nice mosaic.

ReplyDeleteI adore all of your Owl images, they are delightful, now...if only I knew where you are fortunate to go to be able to view them and so many of them... very much fun here~
ReplyDeleteThese are ALL such great shots; I especially like the fire road Barred owls, tho...
ReplyDeleteOh, and BTW, great name too! *wink*

ReplyDeleteHow lucky to have seen so many. They are interesting birds. Twit twoo.
ReplyDeleteUsually it is not easy to spot them..
ReplyDelete..but you have photographed so many..amazing!
Truly wonderful photos -- I mean that! I don't think I've ever seen an owl in person. You must be looking in all the right places. :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific shots!
ReplyDeleteI love that one where the owl seems to be looking around the tree at you.
They have wonderful eyes.
Great shots of the owls! They are fascinating birds, butI have not spotted any around here.
ReplyDeleteawesome shots of owls...hope to see these kind of birds for real..haven't seen one

Fantastic photos dear Eileen! I've never seen an owl in reallife :-( They are very impressive birds. Have a beautiful Sunday! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job with the mosaics Eileen! How did you make those? The top one is my favorite, very well placed images, it reminds me of a stained glass window.
ReplyDeleteThe Snowy Owl is my favorite owl of your collection and I hope to see one someday.
Very nice mosaics. I think the snowy owl is extra beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove those owls!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome shots of owls. We have only one native owl in New Zealand and it's quite rare to see one. Sometimes we hear them calling at night. The morepork has a very distinctive sound.
ReplyDeleteNice photos of all the Owls
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic of all those owls!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, owls are such photogenic birds.
ReplyDeleteHow very wonderful to see, from the so-called "home" of the owl Athens, Greece.
ReplyDeleteYet it is mostly owls out of stone or on the back of a coin one does see - hence, one can only be grateful to be allowed to see your great photography.
Please have a wonderful start into the new week.
OMG, these are all beautiful! Never seen snowy owls either! You put them all these lovelies pretty mosaic!
ReplyDeleteOwls are such beautiful creatures! Lovely photos and mosaics!

What a great collection of owl photos! very nice.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all your owls, but especially the snowy owls at the beach! How cool is that, owls at the beach? Great mosaics!
ReplyDeleteHow hard it it to photograph an owl? They are so nocturnal that unless you are out just before sunset or early sunrise in my area they are almost impossible to see. Love your pictures.
ReplyDeleteThis was a very nice post. I rarely see owls and this was super neat so see them through your camera.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen an owl in real life! This is a great post! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I need to hang out with you! I've seen an owl, from a distance, maybe once, that's it! I was thinking about going down to Plum Island, MA because there are Snowy Owls there. Chances are I'd never see it though.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mosaics!

Okay in all honesty I am so envious of you for seeing these beautiful raptors in their natural habitat. I've only seen some at a raptor center in Vermont we had the opportunity to visit. Your images are breathtakingly beautiful. Kudos! ~Jeanne

ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I was just down in Skagit Valley and the Tulip foliage is about 2-3inches out of the ground so by mid March the Valley will be covered with Tulips of all colors. So beautiful. Skagit Valley is one of the nations largest grower of Tulip bulbs in the nation if not the world. MB
