In this mosaic are some of my favorite yardbirds.. the Cardinal, Junco, White Throated Sparrow, Pine Siskin, Redbreasted Nuthatch, Whitebreasted Nuthatch, bottom row are the Pine Warbler, Carolina Wren and the American Goldfinch. These photos in the mosaic below were taken with my Canon Power Shot.
The Cardinals look pretty with a snowy background and are a pretty red to show off for Ruby Tuesday.
Male Cardinal on birdcam
For this weeks Mellow Yellow Monday I have one of my favorite and colorful winter birds the Pine Warbler.
Pine Warbler on Birdcam
Birdcam captured just one of the many squirrels I have hanging on my bird feeders.
I was really happy to get a Wingscape Birdcam for a Christmas present. So now I can see my yardbirds that visit when I am at work. Below, I also made a mosaic of some of the birdcam captures.
The birds seen below on my birdcam are the RB Nuthatch, WB Nuthatch, Pine Siskins, Goldies and Pine Warbler, Cardinal, Chickadees, Titmouse and the squirrel who wanted a closeup shot for his portfolio.
Of course a lot of my birdcam photos are of squirrels and a night time visitor the raccoon.
I hope you can visit these fun memes Mary's Mosaic Monday and Drowsey Monkey's Mellow Yellow Monday and Mary's Ruby Tuesday
Thanks to these great hosts and thank you for stopping by to see my post. I hope you enjoyed my backyard birds and maybe you can help feed the birds this winter.
Have a great week! Eileen

Wow, great photographs and how lovely to receive a birdcam for Christmas. I would love to have one in each of my nesting boxes for the Spring.
Looking forward to seeing lots more pictures from the cam....

I have been enjoying the bird photographs that you post on Facebook each day. It's nice to see them all together on this blog post. Your raccoon is the first ever that I have seen on a bird feeder!
That birdcam must be tremendous, Eileen. How terrific.... I'm envious!!!!
Love your bird pictures. Wish we had more warblers around here. They are so pretty...
We don't have any Pine Siskins this year either. Two years ago we were over-run with the Siskins. The past two years --none....????
Thanks for the great pictures...LOVE them.
Hugs,
Betsy
The birdcam captures whatever come in, anything.
Something from the 3rd dimension?
Fantastic photos, Eileen! Beautiful birds....Christine

Love your cardinal photo with your snowy background! Your squirrel looks like he's posing for the camera :-)
I love the different colors of the variety of species of birds! Nice collage.
I have never heard of a birdcam -- what an amazing idea! I love all your images, but that one of the cardinal looking straight at the camera with some attitude just made me laugh out loud! :)
The webcam posts are great! And I love the pine warbler the best! Have a good week.
Great shots of the birds in the backyard, what a wonderful present. I do feed the birds in the winter. They are so enjoyable to watch. Have a great week.
Wonderful bird images and loved the action at the feeders by the *furry* birds!!!!! :D :D :D
What a nice mosaic! I have not seen one single red-breasted nuthatch since moving back here! I would love to see a pine warbler but I suspect they are all further south with you. Glad you are enjoying your new toy! It makes so much fun for us too!
Wow. I need a birdcam! What great photos. I can not get a good shot of a bird before they fly off. I love yours.
thanks for your visit today.
The bird cam gets great shots of the birds. I love to watch the birds in the backyard.

Heavenly photos!!! I so love bird watching. Those cardinals just have to be my favorite backyard birds.
The bird cam works good. I haven't seen birds in my bird feeder since I put bird seeds a week ago, just wondering. ^_^
Mellow Yellow Monday
Happy New Year... I think this is my first time visiting you in 2011!
I love these photos and love that you have a birdcam... I want one! I don't have as much time to sit and watch the birds out my back door as I did last winter. I do still try and keep them feed.... even the squirrels... I can't help myself! They are just cute!

Eileen you get such a wonderful array of birds at your feeders! The bird cam was such a perfect gift for you. It must be fun to watch it and review who visited your birdfeeders for the day. The nocturnal racoon must have been a surprise! He was really caught in the act :)

how coool, you not only have a great number of birds in your backyard. You also have a birdcam :)
This week I have seen one bird, except for crows and jaqdaws :(
Eileen, now that I see your pictures, I just have to get a birdcam, particularly since I don't have a good view of my birdfeeder. You are getting a wonderful variety of visitors! I love your pics!
Awesome captures!
Dear Eileen, your mosaic is so impressive this week, wow..
I thought when one could hear all these birds, what a concert it would be! Have a good week! Anja
This could be our house, Eileen! Our squirrels are the fattest in the neighborhood. Two years ago, we had a whole family of raccoons visiting at night. Adorable but noisy!
Great series of photos. I'm too impatient to photograph birds, so I really appreciated it.
That Cardinal is so beautiful. not to mention all the other birds
What's with these marauding pests stealing some one else's food instead of foraging on their own?
What a beautiful collection of avians that visit you. To offer them food is wonderful, as they pay you back with their visits and beauty!
LOVE these photos, Eileen! Wonderful!
on behalf of all my feathered friends, thank you for the yummy food.
My Chinese name is spelt SUET, my friends tease that no wonder I am fat.
Awesome captures!
Happy Ruby.

These are gorgeous creatures. Love all your pictures and collage.
So many different kinds of birds, a virtual treat indeed.
A wonderful collection of little ones and what a clever way to photograph them!
your bird shots are amazing!
Such wonderful pictures! Isn't it just amazing how beautiful birds are.
Great captures of the birds and the squirrel is so cute.
Even here in California it has been COLD. I must fill my feeders daily.
You get a grater variety than do I, only the yellow rump has visited my suet feeder.
Beautiful bird pictures ! Definitively not a post for my cats, lol !
Gorgeous birds, and so many different kinds to see..
Hi Eileen, I was excited to see the Red-Breasted Nuthatch as I had never seen one in a picture or in life. I also got tickled by your non-bird visitors to that feeder! I have a lot of Grey Squirrels who raid the feeders but no, I think, raccoons! Have a great day! I love the blog!
