fun views. i keep looking for a non-squirrel feeding feeder ... i have one that supposedly is one of those & the silly creatures keep eating all my feed & the other birds never get any food. frustrating.

so pretty eileen!! we go to longwood every christmas season but have not been this year. it is so beautiful and a must see in my opinion!!

What a festive post (and I love that you've incorporated some of these photos into your header!) The tree lights are so pretty, like a magical faerie land. And I adore your little feathered friends! They reminded me of a poem my Irish grandmother shared with me more than 35 years ago...
Once, back in Ireland, a long time ago,
She saw the Little People dancing in the snow.
They didn't have shoes on their little cold feet;
They looked as tho they hadn't had a bite of food to eat,
But all of them were singing, and their singing sounded sweet.
Now she feeds the little birds that flutter in the snow.

How do they decorate even the small twigs? My tree and the fallen tree are too different trees. Thank goodness. This tree girth is more tham 1 yard in diameter.
