Linking up with Wild Bird Wednesday and Nature Notes
I hope you can join in and share your wild birds and nature scenes and NC Sue Wordless
For this week's wild bird I am sharing the White Ibis I saw in Florida.
I love the blue eye and the red face on the breeding adult White Ibis.
The White Ibis is a wading bird found on the southeast coast of the USA. Sometimes they may wander, I believe some have been see along the Mid-Atlantic coast line during the summer months.
Above is the juvie White Ibis showing the brownish feathers.
I hope you enjoyed my wild bird post and photos. Till next week's wild bird post. Join in and post your birdies and to see more beautiful and wonderful bird and nature photos please visit:

Zaglądam tu często. Podoba mi się ten blog. Nie znam na tyle języka angielskiego, by zostawiać za każdym razem komentarz. Postanowiłam choć raz zostawić komentarz w moim języku, po polsku.

Hi Eileen, such neat photos of the Wild Ibis, a beautiful bird. Thank you so much for visiting my blog while I was away. Have a great week.
we see Ibis in our yard almost every day, but never the juvenile like this one. until last week, we saw ONE... makes me wonder why there is only one with a whole flock of 20 Ibis.. beautiful captures of these birds.

Very nice photos of a lovely bird, Eileen!
Hi Eileen, Neat photos! When it comes to birding, one of the most interesting aspects, to me at least, is the way the bird's appearance changes in color as they mature. So the juvie White Ibis is interesting to see. Now, thank you for your kind words on my Liebster Award post. I left you a reply on there as well. Have a great day!
Lovely shot!! Nice capture

These are really wonderful shots Eileen, beautiful birds. Loved seeing them last March too ;)
I like these guys -- we see whole family groups of them right here in the RV Park this time of year (of course the adults don't have that gorgeous red now).
Beautiful views and birds!
White Ibis always seems to me to be one of the signature birds of Florida wetlands.
I learn so much from you . . .
White Ibis you say . . .
Stately and interesting . . .
stunning images of the white ibis in breeding plumage. Not sure but I think this is the best I have seen ever :)
Oh my goodness - I am so excited that I found this blog! Now I have a new bunch of nature photography blogs to enjoy. Love your birdwatching shots! :D
Beautiful coloring on these birds. I have not seen an ibis, but now I know what they look like. I always learn something new Eileen... Michelle
They are beautiful!
We see them frequently here on the Texas Gulf Coast. They are so beautiful. They tend to feed in groups and make the most soothing burbling sound while feeding. Just lovely.
