Special thanks to all the wonderful host and their memes, I hope you have some time to check them out.
These images and mosaics are from our walk and daytrip to Swan Harbor Farms Park in Havre De Grace Maryland. I have done other posts on this park and the Rails we have seen at this park.
For my Nature Notes and Wild Bird post I sharing the birds below in my mosaic. On this day we heard the rails but could not see them, we did see the Belted Kingfisher, Great Blue Heron, Mallard ducks, and a Green Heron in flight which was spooked by some Canada Geese landing. There were some pretty wildlfowers and daylilies.
Above are some of the birds we saw on our outing, the Kingfisher, GB heron and the Green Heron in flight.
I am not sure what the Kingfisher has in it's mouth, maybe a frog? It show the rufous belly bands of the female Belted Kingfisher. The male has a bluish breastband.
The yellow waterlilies or are the lotus flowers, either way they looked beautiful.
For my NF Trees/bushes I have the the wild hibiscus. I believe it is like a bush. But I am not sure about the name for the purple flowers. As always thank you in advance for visiting my post and for the nice comments. Have a happy Day and new week ahead!

How great to capture the kingfisher with something in her mouth!
that kingfisher was really showing off, wasn't he :O]
Incredible shots Eileen. Hug B
beautiful water lilies.. and i love the one that has a frog or maybe a grasshopper in its mouth.
lovely photos, specially the kingfisher
Hi Eileen, all are beautiful! I love the kingfisher pic, it has a cool hairstyle. It does look like a frog between its beak! Great scenery shots.
The Belted Kingfisher is breathtaking, fabulous.
Kingfishers for me are so hard to get close enough to, to get any decent shots, but you have some great captures here Eileen. Have a Happy Week and have fun every day~
Kingfishers do look almost comical, don't they? Lovely flowers...lots of lavender colors! Enjoy your day my friend. Hugs, Diane
Wonderful mosaics, great shots of the bird !
Greetings from Germany
Uma bela sequência de fotografias.
Um abraço e boa semana.

The kingfisher looks like me when I get up in the morning, with its feathers all askew. Great capture, as are all your photos, my friend.

If by 'bush' you mean shrub, then hibiscus definitely counts!!! I love how you find freshness round every blade of grass and twitch of wing... YAM xx
Love the Kingfisher!
The RG sees them at the lake but I haven't caught one yet.
Love that kingfisher...I never get near close enough to get a good photograph. And love the waterlilies. I have not had much opportunity to photograph them this year.
All very beautiful photos of nature ~ the Kingfisher is intriguing with his mouth full of its catch ~
Happy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
Great pictures! I've never seen a kingfisher before. She looks very punk. lol
Everything is so lush and green there! I've never seen hibiscus growing so thick. It's fantastic.
The yellow blooms are lotus and the purple are purple loosestrife I think. Invasive and illegal here, but maybe not up there. A beautiful plant though.
HI Eileen I lovethe Kingfisher images in particular as well as the beautiful collages of flowers. HAve a great week.
Beautiful photos Eileen. Your Belted Kingfisher is an extraordinary bird.
Hello Eileen! The nature of Maryland looks amazing! Wow!
Great wildlife images. Thanks so much for linking in with "Through My Lens".

I love that kingfisher. They are so fun to see.
Sweet Eileen. This has got to be a great time of year for you outdoors. Not too hot and humid I hope. I looked at that kingfisher and it's huge. Do grasshoppers get that big? Mystery food:) Have a good week!
You have captured the kingfisher in action beautifully. I like all images. And that's quite a lot of lotus flowers! Amazing!

I have been seeing some big beautiful hibiscus in gardens lately. It's very pretty.
Lovely mosaics. The Kingfisher shots are awesome!
Such lovely shots and a pretty place.
Wow...such interesting birds and beautiful flowers too. Great shots of all! Poor little whatever in that bird's mouth...oh well...:)
Have a great week!
Well whatever that Kingfisher has in its bill, it makes for a big meal. A brilliant job with the mosaics again Eileen.
Have a lovely week my friend. We are off to Greece tomorrow.
i think i saw one of these the other day on our travels. but by the time i did get my camera zoomed in enough to get the shot ... by gosh it was gone? was it really there or was it just a dream. gorgeous birdie. ( :
Great beautiful pictures Eileen.
The Kingfisher is really fantastic and also the pictures of the flowers.
I enjoyed this beautiful plates.
Greetings, Helma
Great capture of the bird with the critter (frog?) in its mouth.
Very nice ! I love the Kingfisher !
What an incredible Belted Kingfisher, Eileen. I love your mosaics, as ever. Thank you for your kind comments on my W&W blog.
I always love to see Kingfishers.
Soaking up your greenery and blue skies today. KL is overcome with a horrible haze. It's not very pleasant here at the moment.
a beautiful post. I like the images with the hungry Kingfisher :)
Hello Eileen, hope your Monday is wonderful! Great captures, and my most favorite of all your lovely shots is of your Kingfisher he is just adorable.
Great shot of the kingfisher. It does look like a frog.
Pretty water lilies.
Wonderful capture of the Kingfisher. Lovely mosaics!
Beautiful views of the wildlife.
Lovely photo's Eileen.
Do like your mosaics.
Hope your week is going well.
All the best Jan
I love the kingfisher pictures. I will expected him to move to a more secluded place to enjoy his prey. But, he just stands there looking at the surroundings. Looks so funny.
Fantastic shots of the Kingfisher with her meal! I love the name of this place.
Great shots, especially of the kingfisher!
Thanks for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/09/nighttime-paddle-on-jordan-lake.html
You always find the best birding locations Eileen! I love the little green herons and the kingfishers are a favourite bird of mine. They make the most pleasant "chatter" as they fly along the creeks. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
Wendy
I love to see king fishers, and often do on the hydro wires along our country lines but haven't seen one fishing in our pond for a few years. I kept enlarging your photos on my Mac and it looks like a huge grasshopper in the female's beak.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Eileen.
What a great variety of wild plants and birds, lovely.
Looks like it's a frog it have there.
Enjoyed the great pics. Don't know that I have every seen a king fisher in person. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful collection, Eileen! We saw a Kingfisher kayaking today, but I could not get close enough. They are so skittish. I admire your patience in getting all these wonderful shots.
How wonderful to see the birds. And everything so lush and leafy!
Fine shots! I was not familiar with Swan Harbor Farms but it looks fantastic.
Awesome captures of the Kingfisher - wonder what he has?
Great birds Eileen! That looks like a great place to walk!
Hello, Eileen,
What a beautiful and amazing natural world! The kingfisher is adorable! you captured a great moment. I like your wild flowers too!
Beautiful photos. I loved seeing the Kingfisher and the marshlands. Have a wonderful week Eileen. Here we will be having a week of rain after a week of sunshine.
The water lilies and wild plants look wonderful......and a belted kingfisher! You have so many interesting birds where you live.
Enjoy your week,
Ruby
The Kingfisher is such a charmer, sitting there with a fish in its mouth!
Have a great day, Eileen!
Nice shots. If that Kingfisher was in Australia I would have said it had a cicada in its beak - it certainly looks like a 'bug' of some kind.
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
The Kingfisher wins the prize . . .
Yes . . . . what DOES he have in his mouth!?
Loved the pictures of the Kingfisher getting ready to dine!!
Lovely, except for the purple loosestrife! It is an invasive species, and they've been doing much work up here in Canada to try and eradicate it!
Oh, how I do love the Kingfisher ... they are the cutest and most wily of the fishing birds. If I were a cartoonist, he would be one of my favorite subjects. Great series, Eileen ...
Andrea @ From The Sol
Nice series of sots. I like the Kingfisher. They are so flighty I seldom get a picture.

As always, a great joy to meet your birds and se the nature through your lense.
All the best.

That Belted Kingfisher is such a great looking bird. What a powerhouse it looks like.
Great photos. Your kingfisher is so different to ours! :-)
Hi Eileen, My link for your Saturday's Critters does not work. I tried to do a small edit but ended up deleting half the post. Will finish it this evening as we are going out now. Many apologies! Will read your latest post this evening as well. All the best!
love the kingfisher shots!
Belted Kingfisher has a pretty big prize...a grasshopper?
~
Oh my Eileen, the Kingfisher shots are amazing.
I really enjoyed adventuring through your beautiful world ... Have a great week, Bastet
Eileen, you are a bird expert (along with Stewart and many others) so I am hoping you will take a look at my post 'What's this bird' and help me out. I can't identify it even with the books I have. So, I'm stumped. Thanks.
Fabulous shots of this wetlands area and great pictures of that precious Kingfisher.
Beautiful nature, Eileen...The bird is taking a nice lunch :)))
Buen miércoles.
Besos.
Great mosaics here. The Kingfisher was so cool - I think it was a bug of some kind though as it had antenna.
Oh wow what a great capture with him getting his dinner.
I love your use of the mosaics.
Thanks for sharing your great shots.
Hope you week is going great.
Off to walk the dog.
Maybe I'll see a squirrel.
