Saturday's Critters #102

Saturday's Critters #102

Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.

I am sharing our visit to the Susquehanna River in Maryland to see the Bald Eagles. In November there can be hundreds of migrating eagles stopping at this spot at the river and Conowingo Dam. There can also be hundreds of people and photographers showing up to take photo of the Eagles.

Above one of the many juvenile Bald Eagles.

Perched on the dam three adult Bald Eagles and one juvenile.

How many eagles can you find in the photo above? To help out the count there are 4 eagles flying toward the rocks where the other eagles are perched. There are also some Black Vultures in the shot above.

I hope you enjoyed my eagles and photos. Thanks as always for visiting my post and for the nice comments. Have a happy day and safe weekend.

Also visit:  I'd-Rather-B-BirdinThanks to the gracious host: Anni.  Also check out Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting this fun meme.

Oh WOW!!! I've never seen so many Eagles in one place before. Eagles are my favourite birds. So majestic. We have Wedge Tailed Eagles here in Tasmania. Don't see them very often though, I tend to see more Hawks out flying about. And seagulls, there's always seagulls...

Wow - fabulous photos - so many eagles. I think I counted 13 eagles - I really had to adjust the way I looked at the picture to get them into focus - I probably missed a lot too. Wonderful post!!!!

Hi Eileen, you're so blessed to see flocks of eagles! I think there are eight eagles in the last shot (I imagined two were immature - without white heads? ) I love the single bald eagle photo as well. Thanks for hosting this meme. Have a great weekend Jo

Wow! Excellent shot and collage on the eagles... the bald eagles remind me Brahminy Kite that has white upper body and brown winds tail.

Brilliant pictures Eileen. I can only dream about seeing hundreds of Bald Eagles. I'm not surprised that the birders and photographers outnumbered the eagles. It must be a truly fabulous experience.

Thanks for the chance to join in today. Have a great weekend.

Love those eagles! We have a Bald Eagles nesting near both our Florida and Illinois homes. Both nests are the first in their respective counties since use of DDT was outlawed in the US.

If I was to see all those, I would feel like I had died and gone to heaven. I keep getting different numbers when I count the ones in the bottom photo....but I get over 20 every time I count. I am counting the young ones, too. there are some that I don't count because I can't tell if they are eagles or the other bird...are the others Black Vultures? anyway, loved seeing all of these.

Birds of prey get their unfair share of awesomeness.

We don't have that many eagles around Tampa Bay, but we get to see LOTS of osprey. ALMOST as gorgeous. ;O)
