Saturday's Critters #102
Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.
I am sharing our visit to the Susquehanna River in Maryland to see the Bald Eagles. In November there can be hundreds of migrating eagles stopping at this spot at the river and Conowingo Dam. There can also be hundreds of people and photographers showing up to take photo of the Eagles.
Above one of the many juvenile Bald Eagles.
Perched on the dam three adult Bald Eagles and one juvenile.
How many eagles can you find in the photo above? To help out the count there are 4 eagles flying toward the rocks where the other eagles are perched. There are also some Black Vultures in the shot above.
I hope you enjoyed my eagles and photos. Thanks as always for visiting my post and for the nice comments. Have a happy day and safe weekend.

Oh WOW!!! I've never seen so many Eagles in one place before. Eagles are my favourite birds. So majestic. We have Wedge Tailed Eagles here in Tasmania. Don't see them very often though, I tend to see more Hawks out flying about. And seagulls, there's always seagulls...
Wow - fabulous photos - so many eagles. I think I counted 13 eagles - I really had to adjust the way I looked at the picture to get them into focus - I probably missed a lot too. Wonderful post!!!!
Great Eagle shots. So much fun seeing so many Eagles.

Hi Eileen,
Your shots of the Eagles are impressive!
Have a great weekend!
I have never seen a bald eagle except perhaps once or twice in a nature park, Eileen. Beautiful to see this juvenile. Thank you so much for sharing.
Beautiful series of photographs Eileen.
Bald Eagles so much together, I've never seen.
Best regards, Irma
Ha Ha Eileen, I think I got up to 16 Eagles but then decided I needed new glasses from Santa :)

Hi Eileen, you're so blessed to see flocks of eagles! I think there are eight eagles in the last shot (I imagined two were immature - without white heads? ) I love the single bald eagle photo as well. Thanks for hosting this meme. Have a great weekend Jo
Amazing pics
~ Have a nice weekend ~ Greetings
Beautiful....stately and proud.
Hello Eileen
Some super images here.

All the best Jan
Hi Eileen,
fabulous photos of the Eagle and the Beach.
Have a great weekend, Eileen.
Best regards, Synnöve
Wow! Excellent shot and collage on the eagles... the bald eagles remind me Brahminy Kite that has white upper body and brown winds tail.
Brilliant pictures Eileen. I can only dream about seeing hundreds of Bald Eagles. I'm not surprised that the birders and photographers outnumbered the eagles. It must be a truly fabulous experience.
Thanks for the chance to join in today. Have a great weekend.
A great place, I can imagine that there are hundreds of people; I would be there too.
Impressive photos of the eagles Eileen. How wonderful to be able to see so many. Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend.
How great to see the juvenile!
Wish we could see even 1 eagle around here, let alone all the ones you saw. What a treat.

It's so amazing to see so many eagles now. I've been seeing a lot of turkeys lately too. Well, mainly just their roasted breasts.
So beautiful, Eileen, as always.

Talk about a 'where's waldo'. Just when I thought I saw them another would be revealed. Amazing! Happy Day.
Eileen, I have no photos of animals. Seems all I ever take pictures of is food!
I want those red berries for my tree
my sight will not let me count the eagles but that is a lot in one place. i love the pic of the juvenile eagle. awesome shot....
Amazing to see all those eagles!
Hi Eileen, I enjoyed all the photos! Wow, that second one ... the juvenile eagle ... awesome! I was looking through my old postards and found another one to share on Saturday Critters in the future. Thank you for hosting the meme! Always enjoyable! Have a great weekend!
Love those eagles! We have a Bald Eagles nesting near both our Florida and Illinois homes. Both nests are the first in their respective counties since use of DDT was outlawed in the US.
What a great place to see the eagles! I always get so excited when I spot one in the wild.
I am just getting into this link party thing, and it is tons of fun! Thank-you so much for hosting, I'm very glad to have found you! Or maybe you found me, I can't remember. Either way, I have thoroughly been enjoying all the critter pics!!! Have a great weekend!

Those blue skies make the birds look even more magnificent.
gorgeous hawk. love that close up beak. Happy weekend! ( :
If I was to see all those, I would feel like I had died and gone to heaven. I keep getting different numbers when I count the ones in the bottom photo....but I get over 20 every time I count. I am counting the young ones, too. there are some that I don't count because I can't tell if they are eagles or the other bird...are the others Black Vultures? anyway, loved seeing all of these.
great shots Eileen....love the close up of the juvenile :)
Amazing images!

Eagles ...such majestic birds. Fierce is the word comes to mind
Large colony of eagles. I like the second photo, Eileen.

Eagles are fantastic birds. To know that you went to Maryland to capture them, says a lot about your passion.
Fantastic shots of these magnificent birds, Eileen! Enjoy your week and thanks for hosting.
Good Sunday Morning, Eileen. Thank you for the anniv. wishes.
What a great opportunity to see the Eagles. The closeup of the juvenile is splendid. We watch the bald eagle pair at a nearby college campus (Berry). (online camera)
Awesome shot of the fishing eagles in action, Eileen.
;-)
Birds of prey get their unfair share of awesomeness.
We don't have that many eagles around Tampa Bay, but we get to see LOTS of osprey. ALMOST as gorgeous. ;O)
You certainly have been capturing some great images of large groups of birds lately. So many eagles, you must have been thrilled to see that number. Thanks for sharing :)
That's a lot of Bald Eagles! I've never seen a juvenile before. I only saw the adults in Alaska.
what a wonderful capture of the juvenile bald eagle!
How wonderful to see so many eagles. They're handsome birds.
